I started blogging on November 5, 2003, and received 4,960,172 visits since then. I briefly tasted big blog success, and it was good. Mostly. Thank you, readers! It still amazes me.
Will I resurrect past glory? Maybe. Perhaps, one day. Such things used to mean a lot more to me than they do now.

Not mentioned in the article but an obvious cause of controversy is that “undesirable” human beings will be killed.

A middle-aged woman burned out from the pressures of fame, life, and writing deadlines goes on vacation and meets a 20-year-old man. They “fall in love,” marry, and live happily ever after, right? Of course not. The corny fairy tale has ended. McMillan and her stud are getting a divorce, and things are getting nasty.

Child killing isn't funny, but I laughed while listening to this audio clip of a telephone conversation (posted on YouTube) between a Planned Parenthood employee who accepted a donation from a man who requested that his money be used to help black women have their babies slaughtered in the womb, because “the less black kids out there the better.” (Pet peeve pause: the proper word in this context is fewer, not less.)

It figures that Christians like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell would make the list. Conservative bloggers can be just as bad as liberals sometimes. And two of my favorites, Michael Savage and Pat Buchanan, made the list. But we all seem to agree that John McCain is THE least favorite person on the right.

5:55 p.m. (PDT): Hugh Hewitt broadcast his show live from Biola University, and it was standing-room only. He interviewed a number of attendees, and I was supposed to be one of them. But I missed my queue. I was being interviewed by someone else at the time, so I’m only a little upset.
