As a member of Pro-Life Unity, our goal is to Abolish Abortion in '08. We don't believe that this is an unrealistic goal. People ask, "how are you going to abolish abortion in one year"? Our answer? It hasn't been 1 year, it has been 35 years, and 50 million Americans have been killed during that time.

Peter Shinn, President of Pro-Life Unity, founder of ProLifeNews.tv and also the Monthly Call for Life spoke at the Capitol about the need for people to get more involved in the process of ending abortion. One of the current bills is HR 618, a Right to Life bill sponsored by Congressman Duncan Hunter.

ProLifeNews.tv interviewed Georgia Representative Bobby Franklin at the Institute on the Constitution in Maryland. The topic was HB 1, the Right to Life bill that was submitted by Franklin in order to protect the unborn from abortion, and the elderly from euthanasia.

A claim for damages was filed against George Tiller, a partial-birth abortionist, by Mark Gietzen, President of the Kansas Coalition for Life, on October 30th, 2007 in Sedgwick County, Kansas. The claim alledges that Tiller struck Gietzen while Gietzen was standing in front of the Women's Health Care Services, an abortion mill which is owned by Tiller. According to Gietzen, the hit-and-run incident caused him to sustain injuries to his arms and legs.

Five Pro-Life people were arrested on the A-B Tech Campus grounds in Asheville, North Carolina. Why? Because of what is known as a "Face the Truth" type event, one where signs of aborted babies are shown to the public in order to get them to understand what abortion really is. Many officers were called in to arrest 5 people who were exercising their first amendment rights.

President Bush spoke at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast at the Hilton in Washington D.C. which was held on Friday, April 13th, 2007. The event was attended by an estimated 1500 people. NationalProLifeRadio.net and ProLifeNews.tv were there to film the event. There were about 20 pro-life sidewalk counselors & prayer helpers at 900 S. Washington St. in Falls Church, Virginia this morning.


Approximately 8 pro-abortion escorts showed up. Their job is to stop sidewalk counselors from being effective. When a couple pulls into the parking lot, they immediately walk up to them and and try to distract them from the pro-life counselors.
