Florida/August 19, 2010/FL RTL --
In this outreach of the National Right to Life Committee, we are striving to educate ourselves, inform others, and are dedicated to protecting and preserving innocent human life in all of its stages. Abortion is an important issue and it affects us all with almost 4,000 abortions a day, but we are also concerned about the end of life issues. Educating our youth on the dangers of Euthanasia is important.
FL RTL president Carrie Eisnaugle said, "FL Right to Life is excited about the formation of Florida Teens for Life and looks forward to partnering with them to ensure their success. The more teens know about abortion and euthanasia, the better equipped they will be to save lives in the future."
FL Teens for Life has and will continue to make a great impact right where we live! Twice a month we hold 'Solidarity Saturdays' where we come together to peacefully pray in front of our city's abortion facilities. You can also expect to see us standing near our polling sites in order to bring awareness to voters about their candidates and the issues.
We enjoy being able to help crisis pregnancy centers through donations we collect at our monthly meetings. We have plans to set up informational booths as another way to reach out to the community. Our first meeting brought in recent Christendom College graduate and inspiring speaker, Krystle Schuetz. We will continue to bring in speakers to highlight the different aspects of the pro-life movement like the importance of our pregnancy crisis centers just like the Alpha Center. We will have apologetics training so that everyone will gain the confidence to defend the pro-life message and to promote the culture of life, all the while being uplifting and encouraging.
You can be sure that we will help to represent our generation by being in attendance at the Right to Life March in Washington DC. The issue resonates with our generation and there is no better time for our youth to get involved. They are needed today more than ever to articulate their case for the culture of life.
We hope everyone will keep spreading the word to their family, friends, and local churches. Our website is: www.floridateensforlife.com and you can find us on Facebook by searching for florida teens for life. Feel free to contact us at: flateensforlife@aol.com
