The Pro Life Freedom Ride begins tonight, with Dr. Alveda King and Fr. Frank Pavone leading the bugle charge. Dr. King is a mirror image of her civil rights hero, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, in that she is standing up for equal rights for everyone, including the unborn.
"The pro-life movement is the civil rights movement," declares Dr. King
Dr. Alveda King is the Director of African American Outreach for Priests for Life.
"The most obvious practitioner of racism in the United States today is Planned Parenthood, an organization founded by the eugenicist Margaret Sanger and recently documented as ready to accept money to eliminate black babies," added Dr. King in an article from Catholic.org.
Dr. King is correct. Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was quoted as saying the following in reference to the extermination of the African-American population:
"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." (Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon)
