California Pro-Life Council, August 4, 2009 -
During the budget impasse, in three short weeks, California ProLife Council gathered 14,000+ signatures urging the Governor to cut back support for the abortion industry. After they were presented, one staffer commented, "Well, that's nice, but there's 40 million people in California."
On July 27th the governor announced his cuts. Why would the Governor release 17,000 criminals, cut back every state agency, reduce every state expenditure, except for the funds that flow to the abortion industry?
Nearly 30 million CA taxpayer dollars pay for abortion each year, millions more go into the advertising, rents, staffing, support, and expense of the abortion network. Yet the quasi-government abortion industry was relatively unscathed while thousands of others lost jobs, benefits and services! Why? How could this blatant favoritism happen?
Perhaps it is because of the Kennedy that secretly controls this governor's policies behind the scenes. (No not THAT Kennedy!).
Susan Kennedy, his Chief of Staff, is actually a long-time abortion activist. She is former Cabinet Secretary for Gray Davis, Communications Director for Diane Feinstein, Director of the California Democrat Party, and Director of California Abortion Rights Action League! So who is really making the decisions in this administration?
The budget impasse is not finished and will likely be re-visited in October.
Killing babies before they are born is not a way to "help the future." The Governor needs to get us out of this science fiction nightmare run by ideological radicals like Susan Kennedy.
If fourteen thousand Californians seem insignificant, let's see what they say to 1.4 million!
