Debunking one of the most common arguments made by pro-choice liberals: How can you support the death penalty and a strong military and still be pro-life?
How can you support the death penalty and a strong military and still be pro-life? This is usually the first anti-life argument Liberals throw at us conservatives. For the Progressive crazies out there, I thought I'd spell it out.
My favorite revelation of justice is probably the death penalty. (I wish my favorite revelation of justice could be that American babies are safe from murder in their mother's wombs. I'm workin' on it.) The libs say that "if you think abortion is murder, how can you want to murder people with the death penalty... which kills more blacks disproportionately!"
This is the simplest moral concept in existence, but please try to stay with me. The death penalty punishes people that have committed murder or some other death-worthy crime. These are not innocent people deserving of a second chance or someone that you want walking on the streets. On the other hand, abortion kills innocent pre-borns that have done nothing wrong except live. These children are murdered for their crimes of "inconvenience!" This is the real injustice being committed by American law....

Your counter to this query does not address the question at hand. You seem to have missed the point.
Someone who claims to be "pro-life" is just that. In favor of preserving life in all its forms.
Since you are pro-death penalty you cannot claim pro-life status. You are merely anti-abortion.
This is a simply English lesson ... not a "crazy" (your word) liberal rant.
You may benefit from spending time studying the lives of those who engage in murder and are sentenced to death for their crimes. Contrary to your belief, people can be rehabilitated after they have engaged in egregious crimes. However, you (who are obviously ignorant on this point) are willing to support state sponsored murder from an emotional standpoint.
So I am sure the "crazy" liberals appreciate your attempt to talk down to them as if they were children who don't understand a math problem. But it is you who should do some soul searching, getting involved in educating yourself on the facts, and stop looking at the world as so black and white. Life is never that simple as pertains to death sentences and rehabilitations.
You are anti-abortion and pro-death penalty. When you state your label accordingly liberals will stop pointing out the hypocrisy that is inherent in your insistence in using the pro-life label incorrectly.
Totally agree with the above comment from Anonymous. Label yourself correctly...you are NOT pro life. You are pro life only in the abortion issue but you do not care if people get killed by the death penalty or in war.
You have convinced yourself that war protects the innocent but you block out the fact that war ALWAYS kills civilians.
You even think that Iraq had something to do with 911. You really need to get out i the world and figure out how thinngs work.
Iraq is worse off now than before the war. THe new government is religious and the women have to wear veils. Before the war, they did not have to do this. Now they have absolutely NO FREEDOM!!!
I agree with the above two comments. You preach that the government should take away the lives of murderers- or more appropriately if you're at the standpoint of a conservative, take away the liberties of murderers. Wasn't America founded on liberty and justice? Protection from the inhumanity and abuse of big government? Doesn't God forgive sinners for their sin?
But now you proclaim as an honest, loyal conservative that as a Christian society we should condemn killers and do so by stripping their freedoms, protection and not allowing them to repent their sin. You uphold freedom for yourself, but what about freedom for those who committed a crime? Yes they committed a crime, but let them serve life without parole in prison. God forgives sinners. Come on my fellow good Christian, ever heard: Father, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us?
And by no means is the American justice system bullet proof. Innocent people are locked up for crimes as false convictions. Why? Well because the system has its flaws. Now what if we lock up innocent lives and "hang them by the guillotine"? What kind of society does that make us appear as? Not far from fascism.
It's not crazy libs that produce such convictions of moral wrong in the pro-death, pro-military, pro-life phenomenon. It really is a matter of common sense. Perhaps we can live as a society in our capital laws. But if we kill people for murder (an eye for an eye) then what is the difference between us and the barbarians of ancient Rome and Carthage? By blind definition, there is no difference. They executed persons for petty crimes, they had large militarys, they were greedy bastards. If we take into account America, I see the same. We have persons executed for petty crimes, we have large militarys, we're greedy bastards. We're no more humane than our ancient descendants.
