On Jan. 20, 2009, Barack Obama began his death march as the most anti-life president in U.S. history.

Today marks Obama's 100th day in office. This list substantiates Obama's personnel and policies to that end. He actually started way before Day 1:

Day -75: Names pro-abortion Rahm Emmanuel as chief of staff, who earned a 100 percent approval rating from NARAL while congressman.

Day -59: Appoints executive director of EMILY's List, Ellen Moran, as White House communications director.

Day -56: Names Melody Barnes, who previously served on the boards of EMILY's List and Planned Parenthood Action Fund, as his director of the Domestic Policy Council.

Day -51: Nominates pro-abortion Sen. Hillary Clinton as secretary of state.

Day -51: Nominates pro-abortion Susan Rice as Ambassador to the United Nations; Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards commends her in press release.

Day -51: Nominates pro-abortion AZ Gov. Janet Napolitano as secretary of the Dept. of Homeland Security, who vetoed her state's partial birth abortion ban.

Day -41: Nominates pro-abortion and pro-universal health (abortion) care Sen. Tom Daschle as secretary of health and human services.

Day -41: Appoints pro-abortion Jeanne Lambrew as deputy director of newly created Office of Health Care Reform under Daschle, which Planned Parenthood heralded as "exciting" in a statement.

Day -41: White House transition team publishes 55-page list of demands from pro-abortion groups.

Day -31: Nominates embryonic stem cell research and human cloning advocates Harold Varmus and Jonathan Moreno to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.

Day -16: Chooses pro-abortion Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine as Democratic Party chairman.

Day -16: Nominates pro-abortion, pro-porn David Ogden as deputy attorney general.

Day -16: Nominates "pregnancy is slavery" and former ACLU and NARAL counsel Dawn Johnsen as assistant attorney general.

Day -16: Nominates Thomas Perrelli, former pro-euthanasia attorney for Terri Shindler Schiavo's husband Michael, to head the Office of Legal Counsel at the Department of Justice.

Day -16: Nominates pro-abortion former Harvard Law School dean Elena Kagan as solicitor general, with the buzz she is on short list as next Supreme Court nominee; she supports taxpayer funding of abortion.

All of these pro-death actions occurred even before Day 1! Continue reading "Obama's 100 days of death" on WorldNetDaily.com for Obama's pro-death actions Day 1 and beyond....

The news of topsy turvy world economies has kept the media buzzing across the globe. From the little island republic first discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492 comes a report that should bolster anyone who believes that all human life is sacred.

On April 23, 2009 the Dominican Republic was urged by its President Leonel Fernandez to consider the matter of ending the death penalty for un-born children in that country. In a remarkable vote the lawmakers put down abortion's blood drain by a whopping 167 to 32.

Made up of 31 provinces within an area roughly the size of the State of New Hampshire twice over the Dominican Republic is a Caribbean gem nestled between Haiti, the North Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea. With famous cities and resort areas like Puerto Plata, San Cristobal, and Santiago the capital city of Santo Domingo is by far the most attractive to tourist and visitors.

Although Christopher Columbus discovered the island and named it Hispaniola it has a history that pre-dates Columbus by thousands of years. The main inhabitants prior to Columbus were known as the 'Taino Indians.'

The word 'Taino' means noble and in a twist of history the passage of the no-abortion legislation is figuratively a return to the island nation's namesake in its very aspect. In the 'noblest' manner the Dominican lawmakers have taken a solid stand for life even while other nations are crumbling under international pressure to allow abortion under any terms.

I've learned from experience that it can be difficult to get straight answers from prochoice adherents. There is so much rhetoric, douplespeak and catch phrases, it can be like trudging through a swamp to get to the heart of the matter.

So, to help people understand the prochoice perspective better and to recognize common strawmen, I've compiled some of the arguments I hear the most and what they really mean: click here.

We sent 2 million Red Envelopes to the White House protesting the injustice of abortion. Now it is time to put our money where our mouth is and join the Purple Envelope Project:

Let's take advantage of our numbers and send PURPLE envelopes to Care Net or Heartbeat Int. If you can't find a purple envelope, use a WHITE envelope and write "Purple Envelope Project" on the back. Here's the twist. Instead of sending empty envelopes, PUT IN 1 DOLLAR.

Just think how much we can raise for CareNet and Heartbeat Int. if everyone who sent a red envelope to the White House sends them a purple envelope!

Write this message:
Thank you for all that you do to protect life. Life begins at conception. We appreciate the work you do that helps women choose life. God bless you and your work.

This, like the Red Envelope Project, is something that you can do with your family. Please send your envelope and dollar to one or both of these great organizations.

April 22, 2009- On Tuesday, April 28, at 9 PM (EST), Organized for Life will hold its first teleconference to introduce the pro-life movement and interested listeners at large to Organized for Life and its upcoming events. Organized for Life is on the cutting edge of pro-life activism, bringing community organizing to the pro-life movement and saving lives in a new way. Organized for Life will first describe its strategy of canvassing neighborhoods to educate the country on life issues, and then discuss how they will mobilize people to action.

During the teleconference the group will detail plans to hold pro-life house parties this coming June in communities across the nation. House parties are a form of community organizing that Planned Parenthood, President Obama, and many other left leaning groups utilize to further their agenda.

Ruben Obregon, President of Organized for Life said, "This teleconference is the first of many exciting steps that Organized for Life is taking to bring the pro-life movement to a whole new level. This conference call will help the average person how they can make a difference and save lives."

"Organized for Life will get people and organizations involved in new strategies, and we will personally deliver the message of life to every door in America. These strategies have worked for years for the pro-abortion side and we are confident they will save many lives," added Peter Shinn, National Director.

Registration is required - Visit www.oflusa.com to sign up.

As I look across America's landscape, I ask myself, "What is going on here?"

1. We aren't suppose to use the word "terrorist" to describe a terrorist who wants to kill Americans. We can only use it for pro-lifers, returning military, or those who generally disagree with anything the Obama administration stands for.

2. Miss California, Carrie Prejean, says that (brace yourself) marriage should be between a man and a woman, and she was demonized by the person asking the question. If she would have said she was pro-life, she probably would have been arrested on the spot for being a right-wing terrorist. Thank you Miss California for not backing down.

3. The Democrats led by President Obama decry the torture of prisoners, and there are many questions if most of that was actually torture. But even if they are right, since these same people are for abortion, they agree to the torture of unborn babies. It's real torture to dismember, suction, or use a saline solution on the unborn until it dies. Obama even believes that if they don't die using these procedures, they should be left to die outside of the womb. According to them, the populace should have the right to choose torture on the innocent lives of the unborn.

4. What's behind most of what the far left fights for is ultimately their goal to silence any Christian. For example, they eventually want it to be a hate crime to say anything negative about gay marriage from the pulpit, in church groups, or just in private conversations.

5. The global warming movement is one of the biggest frauds and scams ever perpetrated in American history.

6. We have a leader of America, who obviously doesn't like this country. He hasn't said a sincere positive word either here or overseas about capitalism, businesses, or the people running those businesses. He has criticized many leaders who came before him, and he would like nothing better than to silence anyone who disagrees with him. The people he doesn't try to silence are the dictators who are bashing the United States. He listens to them, and then says nothing to discredit their beliefs.

7. Today Hillary Clinton said that she wanted abortion to be rare. Why doesn't anyone ever ask a Democrat who wants to make abortion rare, why he or she believes it should be rare? They should be put on the spot to answer that question honestly. Next question: If you want abortion to be rare for whatever, then why are you for somebody else having the right to have one? That's the same as saying that they want murder to be rare for whatever reason, but if someone else wants to do it, that's up to them.

8. If people who are against abortion are called pro-life, shouldn't the people who are for abortion be called pro-death?

ATTENTION: GARDASIL VACCINE RECIPIENTS (the one that was supposed to protect girls and women from the HPV virus and the cervical cancer it causes):

[NEW ADDITION TO THIS POST at 10:38 PM, APRIL 22, 2009 at the end]

Reports of adverse events after getting a vaccine can be submitted to VAERS by fax at 1-877-721-0366, online at https://secure.vaers.org/VaersDataEntryintro.htm, or by mail to Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, P.O. Box 1100, Rockville, MD 20849-1100.
Also from that CDC website:
As of December 31, 2008, there have been 32 U.S. reports of death among females who have received the vaccine.
32. And I was berated by some Prolifeblogs.com readers in August 2008 for posting that 25 women had died because of Gardasil since March 2007, so we re-reviewed the data and modified that post to "as many as 18 or 19 women died."

So now, 9 months later, it's up 14 more deaths to 32 in the U.S. Sadly, this isn't going to be end of it. This is between 1% and, at best, 10% of the estimated cases of adverse effects.

That means there could be as many as 320 to 3,200 women dead from this Gardasil vaccine in the past 2 years alone.

The CDC and the FDA are standing by their "fast-tracking" approval of Gardasil three years ago. Read the following links for more scrutinizing information on the dangers to our young girls and women and the underreporting of those dangers:

"An Analysis by the National Vaccine Information Center of Gardasil & Menactra Adverse Event Reports to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), February 2009

Reuters news report, "NVIC Vaccine Risk Report Reveals More Serious Reaction Reports After Gardasil," which quotes extensively from the NVIC PDF document just cited above:

Using the MedAlerts database, compiling data for VAERS through November 30, 2008, NVIC found that compared to Menactra, Gardasil is associated with at least twice as many Emergency Room visit reports (5,021), four times as many Death reports (29); five times as many "Did Not Recover" reports (2,017) and seven times as many "Disabled" reports (261). There have been 34 reports of thrombosis, 27 reports of lupus, 23 reports of blood clots, 16 reports of stroke, and 11 reports of vasculitis following Gardasil vaccine given alone without any other vaccines. There are three to six times more fainting or syncope reports after Gardasil vaccination than after Menactra and there have been 544 reports of seizures following Gardasil and 158 after Menactra (73 Menactra-associated seizures involved co-administration with Gardasil).

Rechallenge reports to VAERS involve cases where there was a worsening of symptoms after repeated vaccination. There were 275 Rechallenge reports after Gardasil compared to eight after Menactra (7 Menactra-associated Rechallenge reports involved co-administration with Gardasil). In the entire VAERS database for all vaccine adverse event reports, there are 467 rechallenge reports, of which nearly 60 percent are for Gardasil.

A 15-year old gymnast, cheerleader and honor roll student in Kansas has been diagnosed with Gardasil vaccine-related brain inflammation after receiving three Gardasil shots. Her first symptoms included muscle and joint weakness and pain, numbness and tingling in her hands and feet, severe headaches excessive fatigue, rash, dizziness, and loss of concentration after the first shot. After the second and third shots she began losing her hair and developed seizures, bouts of paralysis, mini-strokes, partial loss of vision, and severe chest pain, memory and speech loss.

A 21-year old Maryland artist, athlete and honor roll college student died suddenly without explanation in June 2008 after her third Gardasil shot. She is one of the 29 Gardasil death reports in VAERS.

"Most health officials believe that adverse reactions to medications are vastly underreported, as they are optional. Safety experts estimate that only between 1% and 10% of adverse effects are reported. Therefore the actual number of adverse events occurring after vaccination with Gardasil is likely to be much higher."

When will people stop protecting another something (in addition to abortion) that's dangerous to their daughters and has been since Day One? The rabid defense of a vaccine that enables girls to continue and expand upon sexual promiscuity and thus increase their risk of exposure to the resulting STD that is HPV, is nothing short of irresponsible and unconscionable parenting by parents and insane "governing" by the FDA and CDC.

Please don't comment if all you have to say is how few these cases are compared to the millions of vaccines given. We can read too and we have read those statistics. The point is, there are supposed to be no such massively adverse effects at all, if the FDA and the CDC do their jobs correctly.

The point is, from March 2007 through August 2008, as many as 18 U.S. women died after taking the Gardasil vaccine, and in the next 4 months after that, 14 more have been reported as dying after Gardasil was administered, according to the CDC itself.

If one of those 32 dead girls or women was your daughter, would you still really give a damn that millions more took it without incident?

NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This was posted in the combox by one of our readers, Melody:

"I am grateful to you for posting this information. Last week, I was informed that a friend of the family (a very healthy teenage girl) had died suddenly as a result of this vaccine. The family was on the phone notifying everyone they knew with young girls to consider the potential fatal consequences. You are right...It matters a great deal when that one child is your beloved. I also find it difficult to believe that there are no serious incidents other than death with this vaccine. Are there only two possible consequences of the vaccine: Perfect health or death? Not likely. Chances are that there exists a range of ill-effects that haven't been reported or correctly identified with the vaccine."
Melody, read further into that NVIC document. There are numerous "serious incidents other than death with this vaccine."

When 12 year-old Lia Mills wrote her speech about abortion for a school contest:

she had no idea the kind of impact it would have worldwide. Yet after her mother put the speech on YouTube, it garnered over a half a million views!

The greatest source of energy and potential the pro-life movement has is its youth. Youth have a unique perspective and voice, giving them an incredible ability to change hearts and minds. They are steadfast in their beliefs and want to share them with others! Now, Lia is challenging other young people to send in their videos and spread the pro-life message.

The SBA List wants to provide our nation's youth with the opportunity to do just that. This new contest will award two winning videos with a $1,000 scholarship and will be featured in a Susan B. Anthony online campaign!

Lia's Challenge Contest Rules and Information

* Contestants will create a 2-5 minute pro-life video on the topic of their choosing. The video does NOT have to be of the student giving a speech -- you may be creative!

For rules and prizes, visit the Lia's Challenge /a> at the Susan B. Anthony List, where there is also a downloadable flyer to post in your school. Use the Share button below to spread the word.

Scott Klusendorf has published a must have guide to help Christians articulate the Truth:

The pro-life message can compete in the marketplace of ideas--provided Christians properly understand and articulate that message. This book helps pro-life Christians make a persuasive case for the lives of the unborn.

Pro-life Christians, take heart: the pro-life message can compete in the marketplace of ideas--provided Christians properly understand and articulate that message. Too many Christians do not understand the essential truths of the pro-life position, making it difficult for them to articulate a biblical worldview on issues like abortion, cloning, and embryo research.

The Case for Life provides intellectual grounding for the pro-life convictions that most evangelicals hold. Author Scott Klusendorf first simplifies the debate: the sanctity of life is not a morally complex issue. It's not about choice, privacy, or scientific progress. To the contrary, the debate turns on one key question: What is the unborn? From there readers learn how to engage the great bio-tech debate of the twenty-first century, how to answer objections persuasively, and what the role of the pro-life pastor should be.

I just placed my order!  Please check it out (see the ad in our left-hand column).

REQUEST A SHOWING - www.thineeyes.org

Prolife Documentary, Thine Eyes, Premieres at Rio Theater in Overland Park, Kansas, Tuesday, April 21st

Kansas City, Missouri - April 19, 2009 -- Thine Eyes, a first-ever prolife documentary on the annual Washington DC March for Life, will premiere this Tuesday, April 21 at 7 pm at the Rio Theater, 80th and Metcalf, in Overland Park, Kansas.

The high-definition film was shot on location by a six-camera crew to share the spirit of the January 22nd event, which marks the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision to override state abortion laws and mourns the more than 50 million unborn Americans who have died as a result.

The public is invited to attend the event at 80th and Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas. The event is co-sponsored by Kansans For Life.

"Life is the great civil rights issue of our day," said Jack Cashill, producer of Thine Eyes: A Witness to the March for Life. "America's mainstream media consciously suppresses this cause."

The 36th annual March for Life in Washington DC boasted of record attendance, some 300,000 people, yet the event made headlines virtually nowhere. Painfully few in the major media paid any real attention to the March for Life this year despite the event's massive size and obvious relevance. The Obama administration's promise to expand the abortion franchise has energized the pro-life movement nationwide and prompted the record turnout.

"Cashill, together with Michael Wunsch and actress, Jennifer O'Neill, have created a masterful depiction of the prolife cause's biggest and most consistent event," says executive producer, Steve Sanborn. "It's what the world never gets to see - normal everyday Americans in massive numbers who believe the world can do better than abortion."

"The history of America is a history of expanding the family of those whose worth we take seriously," said Cashill. "The Obama inauguration offers us your classic 'teachable moment.' Thine Eyes will make the lesson obvious and even entertaining."

  • Premiere of Thine Eyes: A Witness to the March For Life - $5 at the door
  • Co-sponsored by Kansans For Life
  • Tuesday, April 21st - 7 pm
  • Rio Theater - 80th & Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas

Supporters are asked to visit www.thineeyes.org for more information. Tax-deductible online or mail-in donations for the project are being accepted and ordering of the DVD is also available on the website.

In 2005, Jay Leno's wife, Mavis, told the Detroit Free Press:

"Our current conservative, religious government is obsessed with women on life support and with fetuses because they are imaginary people," as opposed to acknowledging the rights of everyday women, she said.

It is making increasingly less sense to me that liberal feminists like Mavis Leno so totally disregard female "imaginary people," particularly since on ultrasound they must look real enough to be killed in the worst display of sexism possible, as they now comprise well over half of preborns aborted.

And to clarify, that "wom[a]n on life support," Terri Schiavo, was not on life support at all and was not even close to being as brain dead as liberal feminists like Leno who abandoned their supposed sister to starvation and dehydration after her seedy husband suddenly recalled, years after winning a sealed amount of money in a malpractice lawsuit and fathering two children with another woman, that Terri preferred death by torture to living as a disabled person in the care of her loving parents and siblings.

jay and mavis leno.jpg

So Leno can spare me her words of concern for the plight of oppressed women in Afghanistan, which is why she says she is hosting a Hollywood fundraiser for the Feminist Majority Foundation on April 29 with her soon-to-be NBC prime-time player husband, Jay. One right they want is for Afghan women to be free to abort. Crazy....

But what is the teleconference about?

You'll have to stay tuned for more information. ;-)

But I'll give you a hint - it's about taking things to the next level in fighting and ending abortion in communities across the nation.

Be sure to mark your calendar, because space is limited and you won't want to miss out on this call.

"Hear our cry, won't someone save the children?"

How will we end abortion?

April 7, 2009

RedEnvelope.pngNice Work! Thank-you to everyone who participated in the Red Envelope Project and sent President Obama a red envelope representing a life ended by abortion. The visual must have been amazing. Story from World Net Daily:

The White House mail office has confirmed it received a "deluge" of as many as 2.25 million red envelopes symbolizing the empty promise of lives snuffed out in abortion in a massive campaign that was larger than most White House mailing movements in the last 35 years.

White House mail worker "Steve" has handled letters for 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for more than three decades. Every single package and letter destined for the White House goes through his office.

Asked if he has seen a flood of red envelopes bound for the White House, Steve chuckled.

"Uh, yes," he said emphatically. "Believe me, they made it here."

Steve said while Obama has been occupied in Europe, his administration has noticed millions of red envelopes on behalf of aborted children.

"Quite frankly, there was definitely a deluge of mail coming through," he laughed. "I had to handle them all."

"I've been here 35 years, so I've seen presidents come and go," Steve told WND. "This campaign ranks up there with the big ones."

The Red Envelope Project is an idea sparked in the mind and prayers of a Massachusetts man, Christ Otto, who envisioned in January thousands of red envelopes sent to the White House, a visual expression of moral outrage over the president's position on abortion.

You have a vitally important opportunity to immediately send a message to prevent a critical loss of access to healthcare professionals who are being systematically pressured to violate ethical standards. Here's what's been happening:

  1. In August 2008, the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) took long-overdue action to address a growing crisis of abortion-related discrimination that could force thousands of conscientious healthcare professionals out of medicine. After several months of public comment on its proposed regulation, in December 2008 HHS finalized a regulation that made clear the protections offered by three civil rights laws passed by Congress with bipartisan support.
  2. The civil rights laws declare that American tax dollars will not fund programs in which healthcare professionals are fired, penalized or otherwise subjected to discrimination because of their ethical stance related to abortion and other morally controversial issues.
  3. However, in March 2009, following protests from abortion special interest groups, the new administration officially declared plans to rescind--get rid of--the conscience-protecting regulation. The administration has, as required by law, called for public comment on the proposed plan to get rid of the conscience-protecting regulation, with a deadline of April 9, 2009.

Christian Women Beautify Abortion: Insipid, Vapid, Gaping, Evil.

Tags: Pro-Life, Torture

I have never in my life heard of something which has caused a more visceral, appalling, guttural hatred-of-evil emotion to course through my mind. It is rather amazing, because there are lots of evil things out there. This one is about the worst feeling I have ever had. Unbelievable:

The Women's Center Of Hyde Park in Tampa, 502 S. Magnolia, baby slasher institution, recently received a group of idiot "Christian" women to beautify the process of murdering children. These women volunteered their time, to deliberately make the interior decorating of the killing fields' front office into something nice.

I expect that born-again Christian people will function at a highest standard of morality. I expect that Christian women will be the champions of children, protectors of their little ones. It is utterly beyond me to find that a group of Christian women have taken it upon themselves to beautify an abortion mill, so as to make it more acceptable to pregnant women who go there. I would hardly expect this gutter behavior from criminal unbelieving people. But this is such scathing, philistine, vapid, deliberate wickedness it defies the imagination.

It's the first Friday of the month and it's time to call for LIFE!

Thank you for all you do for the unborn. Without us speaking out for them, they would die in silence, killed by abortion or embryonic stem cell research. In the end, our representatives, through our prodding, will do the right thing and end abortion and human killing research.

I would like to ask everyone to do one more thing for the unborn this month. Please contact at least 2 people who might do just a little bit more to help the unborn and encourage them to join us in the Monthly Call for Life. It's only once a month, and it's so easy! What is the most effective way to reduce the amount of abortions? There isn't one right answer, but some methods have been very productive. For example, the ongoing 40 Days For Life campaign proves that a prayerful presence at an abortion mill results in the saving of hundreds of lives. Also, the internet has been shown to be a tremendous asset when delivering the pro-life message. Pictures and videos of abortions or aborted babies have displayed reality to many who either ignored the issue or proclaimed that they were pro-choice. Even though this method is extremely effective, there is a reluctance by many to view such graphic material. Also, if shown in public, local governments and school administrations often try to block the exhibit.

One alternative that has become quite effective is the increasing use of ultrasound, especially the 4-D type, that really brings the humanness of the baby to those watching. The main outcry against this has been from Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills, because they realize that ultrasounds reduce the number of abortions and, thus, their profits.

For the last five years Focus on the Family has had the program Option Ultrasound, where they have provided over 400 grants for ultrasound machines and training at pregnancy clinics in 49 states. These machines cost from $21,000 to $33,000, plus several thousands in training costs. They have found that the use of ultrasound doubles the potential number of babies saved compared to only counseling, resulting in nearly 63,000 lives saved with this project. Testimonials and more information are available at www.heartlink.org.

Of course, there are many other smaller groups that provide the option of ultrasound to pregnant women. One organization is Project Defending Life, www.defendinglife.org in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They recently had an ultrasound demonstration called Window to the Womb at St. Pius X High School in Albuquerque. Some of the student's responses reveal how much of an impact an ultrasound can have.

"I felt a big burden lifted off my chest and a growing spirit to step forward and show the world that maybe a few people like me could make a difference ... joined with so many people in prayer for a sole purpose ... a sense of hope that maybe we could make some sort of impact on our world ... We, working together, can change the world"

"the ultrasound was very moving, and it really opened my eyes ... If I was in the situation and was thinking of getting an abortion, and I saw my little baby inside of me, I would definitely change my mind ... I think that anyone who says that the child is just a bunch of cells and is not a baby should look at an ultrasound and try to say that once they've seen it. They wouldn't be able to because they would see that it truly is a baby with a heartbeat ... I pray and hope that someday, maybe in our lifetime, that abortion will become illegal"

"I believe that the ultrasound presentation was very educational ... not only should high school students be required to see an ultrasound but so should the women who want to have an abortion ... Learning all this information made me appreciate my life so much more ... I don't understand why people support something so cruel"
"The ultrasound reinforced how special life is ... so many innocent lives are lost ... its not the babies fault."

"Babies are so innocent and so full of love ... they bring joy to people. Life is not a mistake but a gift. I believe that these women who go in for an abortion are scared and afraid of what is to come, the huge responsibility it takes to raise a child. But what they don't see is how much love and happiness this child will bring ... they see that ultrasound, they see that love and happiness."

"I never really sat down and thought about a child developing within its mother in those nine months of pregnancy ... about how tiny we all start out in our lives, and how easy they can be taken away. Viewing an ultrasound before an abortion will save many innocent souls. God creates and makes things happen for a reason ... I never thought of the pain and destruction ... It is an unfair and cruel thing to do to such a gentle and pure being. I pray and hope that God takes these children that are lost with open arms and hugs them and takes them into his kingdom of eternal life."

"... truly a life changing experience. Being able to see the actual heartbeat was completely amazing to me, almost mesmerizing ... a true eye opener. These babies have no voice ... I will now be a voice for them, and will openly and passionately join the fight against abortion. Life is a gift that starts at conception and it should not, under any circumstances be taken away by abortion"

There is a trend in the state legislatures to pass laws that give the option for a pregnant woman to view an ultrasound. They are not required to see the ultrasound before having an abortion, but they must be given the option. Twelve states have adopted such a measure which undoubtedly has saved numerous lives.

When parents see the ultrasound of their unborn baby a connection is made that cannot be forgotten. This connection has been extremely vital in reducing the number of abortions. As previously exhibited, the ultrasound can also be a tremendously effective educational tool to show everyone what really is killed in an abortion. When many just hear information about abortion, it doesn't have nearly the impact of five minutes of viewing the unborn baby with an ultrasound machine. It also eliminates the uneasiness and complaints even with some in the pro-life community about the displays of graphic material about abortion.
