The cartoon is particularly relevant in light of Barack Obama's recent decision to force taxpayers to fund research that destroys human embryos.

How can one compare partial birth abortion to embryonic stem cell research? One partially delivers a fetus and then kills it because it is unwanted, and the other uses five day old blastocysts (balls of 100-200 cells) for the potential good of others? By the way, these blastocysts have no nervous system (the primitive streak forms no sooner than 14 days after conception) and therefore can feel no pain.
This cartoon is just a way to exploit the ignorance of the general public in order to rally against ES cell research.
Nazis would put jews into ice cold water. Their research on hypothermia has benefitted more people than escr has. And they probably felt about their victims the way you do about yours.
If you're so anxious to spend money on killing these little human beings, then spend your own money and keep your hands out of our pockets.
Does anyone care about the fetus after birth? Hello? Did you notice babies need a lot of love. And attention. And care. The deepest feelings of the mother are crucial. God gives a baby one mother and one father, for good reason.
Jessica, I agree with you. This cartoon is manipulative and distorts facts.
Ij, the second guy to comment, the stem cells taken from embryos are not "little human beings" they are human cells that have not yet compiled to create certain types of tissues that form bones, organs, hair, nails, etc. It's like a Lego castle, it's not a castle till all the pieces take shape after being connected to one another.
