Finally, some good news coming out of the legal system in Kansas.
George Tiller will stand trial!

For those of you who don't know, George Tiller runs a late term abortion mill in Wichita, Kansas, where children can be killed all the way up to the moment before they might be born on their due date. People fly from around the world and around the country to kill their children there. Phill Kline, who first brought charges against Tiller when he was the Attorney General of Kansas has been pursuing this case for years, trying to seek justice for the unborn.

Operation Rescue, a Pro-Life organization based in Wichita, has consistently kept the pressure on Tiller. Troy Newman has made it his mission to see to it that Tiller's doors are closed at the earliest moment possible. OR provides a "Truth Truck", one which shows what an abortion looks like, to Mark Gietzen from Kansas Coalition for Life.
This truck is parked in front of Tiller's mill every minute his doors are open. It is known that women have seen the abortion pictures and have turned away from their desire to kill their children.

Mark Gietzen, Kansas Coalition for Life, placing crosses around the abortion mill. He inserts 167 white Crosses on city property adjacent to Tiller's building. Each cross represents a child that was killed at the facility during the previous month.

Pro-Life Unity, has been working with Kansas Coaltion for Life and Operation Rescue to try to shine the light on the evil that happens in Wichita.

The defense was trying to claim that former Attorney General Phill Kline basically had it in for Tiller, not that Kline was trying to pursue the rule of law, which he has been for years. Judge Owens didn't buy it.
There is no doubt that Phill Kline's campaign for and conduct of the Attorney General's office was heavily involved in abortion issues. It is not uncommon for elected prosecutors to pledge intensive efforts to address areas of perceived criminal violations. Some of these may tread very closely to constitutionally protected conduct such as cracking down on pornography and the freedom speech or concentrating on street gang activities and freedom of association. The problem arises when the prosecutor steps over the line and threatens the constitutionally protected activity.

While Phill Kline testified that he would like for all abortions to be outlawed, his investigations made no attempts to prevent lawful abortions from being performed in the State of Kansas. His procedures have certainly been questioned by the Kansas Supreme Court, but his conduct in the investigation does not merit the sanction of the dismissal of the charges or suppression of evidence.
The motion to dismiss or suppress is therefore denied.

BREAKING NEWS! Abortionist Tiller To Stand Trial

Wichita, KS - Moments ago District Court Judge Clark V. Owens released his decision denying the motions filed by late-term abortionist George R. Tiller, which asked the judge to suppress evidence against him and dismiss the 19 pending criminal charges involving illegal late-term abortions.
Judge Owens addressed all the concerns that Tiller's attorneys brought up over six days of testimony, especially those alleging outrageous governmental conduct involving former Attorney General Phill Kline.
Judge Owens ruled:
While Phill Kline testified that he would like for all abortions to be outlawed, his investigations made no attempts to prevent lawful abortions from being performed in the State of Kansas. His procedures have certainly been questioned by the Kansas Supreme Court, but his conduct in the investigation does not merit the sanction of the dismissal of the charges or suppression of evidence.
The motion to dismiss or suppress is therefore denied.
"This decision brings us one step closer to justice," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "We continue to pray that true justice will be served on behalf of the innocent, viable babies wrongfully killed by Tiller."
