On the day of Barack Obama's inauguration as President of the United States, most American's hope he will succeed in leading this nation in a manner fitting the historic nature of his presidency. His speech is expected to emphasize a new era of responsibility:
Obama aides said that the speech will last 18 to 20 minutes and that Obama will emphasize that America is entering a new area (sic) of responsibility.
He will say that America has been hurt by a "me first" mentality that has contributed to the current economic crisis, aides say, and call on individuals -- as well as corporations and businesses -- to take responsibility for their actions.
Unfortunately, as the most radical abortion proponent in presidential history, Obama's theme of "personal responsibility" is likely to ring hollow in the ears of those who respect the dignity of human life. In particular, I expect pro-life bloggers will take great exception to Obama's inconsistent stand for and against life.

Appendix - Obama on Abortion
1. Sanctity of Life: When asked when a baby is entitled to human rights Obama responded that the question was above his pay grade. Obama would recommend abortion for his daughters if they got pregnant because he wouldn't want them to be "punished with a baby."
2. Ratings: Obama is rated 0% by the The National Right to Life Committee. Obama is rated 100% by NARAL.
3. Legislation: Obama is against "conscience-clauses" for pro-life doctors who refuse to do abortions. Obama voted NO on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions. Obama voted NO on prohibiting minors crossing state lines for abortion.
4. Destructive Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Obama voted YES on expanding research to more embryonic stem cell lines. Obama supports the killing of human embryos to obtain their stem cells. Obama has signaled that he intends to reverse Bush's controversial limit on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research,
5. Funding Abortion: Obama wants to force taxpayers (and insurance companies) to pay for abortions - supports legislation that would repeal the Hyde Amendment which protects pro-life citizens from having to pay for abortions that are not necessary to save the life of the mother and are not the result of rape or incest.
6. Partial Birth Abortion: Obama voted against banning the brutal practice of partial-birth abortion.
7. Born Alive Infant Protection Act: Barack Obama voted against and blocked legislation that would have protected infants who were born alive following an unsuccessful abortion (he took a leadership role to kill it). Then he misrepresented his record. Obama called Gianna Jessen, an abortion survivor, a despicable liar after being presented with the truth about his failure to protect babies born alive.
8. Freedom of Choice Act: Barack Obama co-sponsored and supports the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), a radical legislative attempt to enshrine abortion-on-demand into American law, to sweep aside existing laws that the majority of Americans support and to prevent states from enacting protective measures in the future (more here). 9. Supreme Court: Obama vows to nominate Supreme Court justices that support Roe v Wade. Obama voted against the highly qualified Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito.
10. Radical Pro-Abortion: Obama is the most pro-abortion President and rejects of the God-given intrinsic dignity of human life. Obama's only Harvard Law Review article took a pro-abortion stance.
11. Assault on Life: Immediately after his election, Barack Obama's assault on human life began with the identification of executive orders that could be reversed to support abortion and embryonic stem cell research. Barack Obama has confirmed that he will overturn a pro-life policy of President Bush on his first day in office and fund foreign abortions with US tax dollars. [visit the FRC to take action today]

We cannot wish Barack Obama well on the occasion of his "inauguration" because everything he will do, almost without exception, will be damaging and unsound.
Obviously, his support for unlimited prenatal homicide will be lethal to helpless innocent human beings and will be criminal.
His anti-free market economic and social agenda will do enormous damage to our economy and society. The Democratic Party caused the dreadful financial meltdown and will make a bad situation much much worse with their highly irrational economic and social policies.
Beyond this, he will NOT be a legitimate "President" because he is most likely NOT a "natural born" citizen as required by the Constitution. If true, it means he is a constitutional and political fraud who is engaged in a gigantic swindle and con game, arguably the worst in American history. He could become the Democratic Party's Richard Nixon and be forever reviled for his devastating scandal and fraud.
Every action he takes as "President" will be null and void and every executive order he issues, every bill he signs, every appointment he makes and every order he gives to the military will be challenged in federal court. When people are prosecuted under the terms of legislation he signs, they will use as their defense the fact that the "President" is not a legitimate lawful President, but a criminal usurper illegally occupying the White House. This horrible constitutional crisis will continue to get steadily worse and it is entirely a result of the dishonesty and corruption of Barack Obama, his campaign and the Democratic National Committee who enabled his fraud every step of the way.
I will not ever wish well politicians who believe in committing and enabling and subsidizing unspeakable crimes against our children.
I will not ever wish well politicians who believe in violating the Constitution, peoples' rights and the laws of economics to ram through an unsound and inhuman agenda which will do great damage to the fabric of our society.

Regarding Obama's legitimacy: Here's how I understand the facts:
Obama was either born in the US or not. If so,
1. Obama was born in Hawaii, part of the US, and by virtue of the 14th amendment, is a citizen.
If not,
2. The Constitution requires that one be a citizen, but it does not require one be born within the borders of the US.
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President..." (Article II, Sec 1)
What that means is "born under one of the sets of conditions that legally define a person to be naturally, by right of birth, a US citizen."
One of those sets of conditions is: Born on foreign soil to a non-US citizen and a US citizen who has lived in America for at least 5 years.
Therefore,
3. Citizenship and naturalization law states that children of US citizens born abroad are citizens. Wherever he was born, his mother was a citizen and therefore he is too.
so...
4. Unless you can prove his mom was not a US citizen or didn't spend 5 years in this country, you are just spinning your wheels.
5. The Supreme Court has a history of dismissing as baseless these ridiculous cases.
And just for fun, remember
6. Republicans have had this problem too, but thankfully wise political opponents let it go.
- McCain was born in Panama.
- Mitt Romney's father George ran for president in 1968 but he was born in Mexico.
- Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona before it was a state.
Wrong. A natural born citizen must have been born in America to parents both of whom are American citizens. His father was from Kenya, not an American citizen and Barack Obama had dual citizenship at birth. He cannot be a "natural born citizen".
Also, he was probably born in Kenya (this is why he has fought tooth and nail to hide his real birth certificate) and therefore for that reason would not be natural born.
Also, he lived in Indonesia and was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather and apparently took Indonesian citizenship at that time and lost his natural born status if he had it to begin with.
He may still be Indonesian. Apparently, he traveled to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport in 1981. There is no record of his being naturalized after returning from Indonesia.It is even possible that he is an illegal alien.
The Supreme Court has denied and dismissed cases based on procedure, not on the merits of the cases.
The arguments are not "ridiculous". The main argument being made is not that he is not or may not be a natural born citizen, but that he has not proved that is to be eligible and that he needs to do this and that we need for him to do this. We are asking him to prove he is eligible for the most important job in the world. He MUST do this. In his arrogance he has refused to do this and has spent upwards of a million dollars fighting all efforts to get him to come clean. He is clearly hiding something and the people whom he serves have a fundamental right to know why he will not tell us the truth.

let's take a look at the two relevant parts of the US Constitution:
from 14th amendment:
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
and from Article 2 Section 1:
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
Therefore, it appears that Obama is eligible because he is a citizen.
