Will God change Barack Obama's heart? I certainly hope so and so does Franklin Graham, head of the Charlotte-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Referencing abortion and gay marriage, Graham stated, "But he's our president-elect, and those positions that he holds that are contrary to Biblical teaching, I hope that God will change his heart.
Interestingly, LifeNews suggests that Billy Graham won't advise Obama because of his "strong abortion position". Frankly, I doubt that this is the case (it certainly would be the first!) and see little evidence of it in the Associated Press reports quoted by LifeNews.

Yeah, it's possible. But I remember people having high hopes for a conversion for Bill Clinton.
Yes, it's possible. But God AND OBAMA willing.
For God forces Himself on no one.
And I just don't see in Barack Obama a willingness to recognize any god but himself -- which makes him very different from famous converts from history and Scripture.
Are you kidding me? Really? You want God to change Obama's heart? First of all, why don't you ask him to change all the terrorists and dictators of the world into better people instead of this petty politics you seem to like to escape into.
Secondly, why does it matter so much to you if Obama shares your faith? The constitution states that a religious affiliation cannot be held against the presidential candidate or serve as a prerequisite for the office. Just because you don't see him as sharing your faith doesn't mean he has no moral or ethical compass. Religious people aren't the only good people in the world. Take a moment to open your minds a little bit, and frankly, get over yourselves.
You don't have to be religious, or even Christian, to be decent. In fact, you can be religious, and even a Christian, and be pretty loathsome.
The beef we have with Obama is that he's okay with wrapping a baby in a towel and sticking him in a closet to die. I don't care what, if any, religious affiliation you have, it takes a moral imbecile to think that's okay.
Either Obama's opposition to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act was a calculated act to discredit his opponents by doing something so pointlessly hideous that we'd be branded as liars merely for pointing it out, or his opposition to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act was a true measure of his total lack of any conscience. Pick one.
When YOU have done a quarter-century of research on abortion malpractice, when you have abstracted over ten thousand medical board documents, health department inspections, medical journal articles, police reports, autopsy reports, and court documents about abortion malpractice and death in America, you can come back and snipe about my sources. You're getting your information from where? From people who probably deny that abortion is even legal after viability even when starting at ads in the Yellow Pages for abortions to 26 weeks.
You should read your Constitution. The Religous Freedom and Establishment Clauses only deal with the actions of Congress (later deemed in court decisions to include all levels of government) The First Amendment has nothing to do with Presidential qualifications or opinions about his religious beliefs.
If the President believes in things I think are immoral, I have the right to disagree and promote my position in any mannter consistent with the law.
Um John Baker - you apparently aren't aware of the fact that Obama claimed to BE a Christian.
You probably are also ignorant of the fact that Billy Graham has been serving as a mentor to Christian presidents for decades.
You posted: "Secondly, why does it matter so much to you if Obama shares your faith? The constitution states that a religious affiliation cannot be held against the presidential candidate or serve as a prerequisite for the office."
Sheesh - maybe you obama sheple should try learning about a candidate before you vote for him? Some obama sheeple believe he's a Christian and voted for him because of that... other obama sheeple believe he's a Muslim or atheist and voted for him because of THAT... That's the problem when you vote for somebody just because you idolize and trust them without questioning them. The truth is he pretended to be whatever he thought it would take to get you to vote for him. And my guess is 'The One's' sheeple won't admit they've been conned until it's way too late - after 'The One' has taken away their right to question him.
Fools...
