Barack Obama, In His Own Words....No Christian Would Do This

He was not mocking the Bible; he was making the case for anti-fundamentalism. In fact, the Defense department would NOT be able to stand up to the standards of the Sermon on the Mount. And Barack Obama's words here do NOT mock the Sermon on the Mount...in fact it IS one of the most radical speeches ever recorded/delivered.

Blessed are the peacemakers...not the distortionists.

You are right about politicians misleading us. The scary thing though is that you seem to think such spin and mislead is being generated from only one of the candidates. Republicans are focusing on the misleads of Democrates, and the Democrats are focusing on misleads of the Republicans. Pull your head out. Are you forgeting that it is about advancing our country, not just your political party? Are you forgetting that checks and balances seemed to go out the window during the Bush administration, and things have gotten bad. God help us ALREADY!

Pray for God to help us all. God IS in control isn't he? God has a plan, right? God IS watching over the faithful, right? So, pray, and then have a little faith that God is in control, and your small human perspective cannot understand God. God works in strange ways... remember? Stop the fear mongering, step up and help, make something better. Your views are not the one and only views. You are just another human doing the best he/she can, just like me. Stop with the drama, step forward and improve some part of this world.

Dan, I DON'T "think such spin and mislead [sic] is being generated from only one of the candidates." I have written several times about how I didn't like this or that about GWB, the GOP and McCain. My head isn't hidden anywhere . Please I urge you to read a little more about what I've written before you attack me to "Pull your head out."

All my posts in the last 3 months were about getting out the truth about Obama and how he represented "the worse of two evils", because the major media purposely hid this all from you and me. This isn't fearmongering or drama, good Lord, no. It seems that way to you and others because it IS just all plain truth, from objective sources! It's the news the news media won't tell you, so people don't believe it's true!

And I am not about advancing my political party in the least! I've been a critic for years of my political party for its half-assed prolife plank among other problems. I don't really expect you to know all that about me unless you've been a longtime reader either here or on my blogs, but that is a fact, whether you believe it or not.

What do you think all my posts are about except "stepping up" and trying to inform and educate people about all that they're being lied to? I never said or implied that my views are the one and only views. Good Lord. Stop ascribing such arrogance to me just because I point out Obama's own words mocking his own faith! REALLY!

May I respectfully ask what are you doing to step up and improve the world?

And the checks and balances that went out in the early GWB years CAME BACK IN when the GOP lost control of Congress while Bush was still President. You have forgotten that, it seems.

You've also forgotten that there were NO checks and balances in the first 2 years of the Clinton White House, and he ran rampantly toward the left, abusing HIS power, those 2 years.

I do pray, a lot. I do know that God is in control. I also know though that He gave us free will, to choose our own doom, if we so choose. I do believe that if this is part of His plan, He has His reasons, just as He allowed human beings to commit atrocities against each other for centuries. AND I know that His son called upon us to call out damning influences when we encounter them, to not remain silent, to try to help others by showing them truth. If we don't, we ourselves can be held accountable for them as if we ourselves had committed them.

That is all I've been doing: calling out the truth. Yet I am persecuted (in this case by you) for doing so, and even for that I am glad because I know I've only done what my God has asked of me.
