This is not the first time that Blacks have to choose between their color or Christ. That's what it really comes down to. And now, visibly, they have to choose between their color or Christ, because the representation of the left party has always been to destroy life, destroy life in the womb. In fact, the Democrats strengthened their death language in the last convention. When you look at Back abortion rates now, for every two pregnancies one is aborted, blacks should be alarmed, they should be up in-arms, but, race politics has been going on for so long, and Blacks have been so indoctrinated to believe race politics, that when questions of life come up they put them second third or fourth of their concerns and allow for this holocaust to continue.

Choosing between our color or Christ,now that is an interesting topic. Let's talk about Sarah Palin as she spews accusations about Barack inciting hate speech and white supremecy ideology. She is basically trying to incite a race war. And by the way she says she's a Christian. Well, I can't think of anything referenced more in the scriptures than God's love and concern for the poor and Jesus was not a socialist, but he did say in the book of James, charge them that are rich in this world that be not highminded, trusting in uncertain riches but that they do good, be ready to distribute and willing to communicate, laying up in store for themselves a GOOD foundation. Somehow some think our moral concerns should end with abortion and not raising taxes on the rich.
I have read the comments in reference to Star's insight on the "Black Dilema". As a Christian as well as an African-American, I whole-heartedly agree with Star's statements! I am also saddened by the other comments made by those who still are evaluating things only through the "color" lens. Yes, it's "Christ", His "Commandments" and "Character"-Not Color that should matter the most when making our judgment about a matter. And as for Sarah Palin, I wish more Black women would speak out more on these critical issues affecting our communities, instead of simply defending Barack Obama only because of his skin tone! Since when pointing out where a person stands on certain polocies and practices now somehow amount to a racial attack? It is time we stop doing what is good only for a segment of America, and start doing what is best for all Americans.
