I'd suggest that you "pay closer attention to the interview" and "be an educated voter" yourself. Honestly! Read/listen to the whole interview, rather than gloat mistakenly ("!!!") that you've somehow "found" a "crack in the story" that the major media somehow "missed:"

PALIN: What I want to do, when elected vice president, with John McCain, hopefully, be able to reach out and work with those who are on the other side of this issue, because I know that we can all agree on the need for and the desire for fewer abortions in America and greater support for adoption, for other alternatives that women can and should be empowered to embrace, to allow that culture of life. That's my personal opinion on this, Charlie.

GIBSON: John McCain would allow abortion in cases of rape and incest. Do you believe in it only in the case where the life of the mother is in danger?

PALIN: "That is my personal opinion."

Even the Catholic Church does not condone having the mother die if that's the only way to save the unborn baby. Think tubal pregnancy that would kill the mother if allowed to proceed. That's ludicrous.

Note this from the Catholic Catechism: "Since it must be treated from conception as a person, the embryo must be defended in its integrity, cared for, and healed, as far as possible, like any other human being."

The realm of that "possibility" would not send a mother to her death if that were the only option for saving the unborn's life.
