The latest creative attack on Sarah Palin by abortion advocates urges others via email to make a donation to PP in the name candidate's name. Yes, this is insidious and reflects desperation:
"We may have thought we wanted a woman on a national political ticket, but the joke has really been on us, hasn't it?" the email asks. "Are you as sick in your stomach as I am at the thought of Sarah Palin as Vice President of the United States?""Women's issues", of course, is code for "abortion". And just how could Palin represent PP and its sister organizations? After all, she stands for the sanctity of human life and equal justice for all!The email, which created an Internet buzz over the weekend, goes on to say, "None of you, however, can be happy with Palin's selection, especially on her positions on women's issues."
As if it wasn't abundantly clear already, some single issue abortion rights propagandists are using Palin's pro-life commitment as a fund raising mechanism.

I don't particularly like Sarah Palin. I feel that she chose to have this Down's Syndrome baby to prove she is pro-life and now, where is this little fellow? How about pro-care? Also, she introduced her 17 year old pregnant daughter to the world under the guise of being supportive - where is she now? She was herself preach abstinance, but how about also saying to your chld, "If you find you can't make that choice for yourseld, make certain you practice safe sex, not only to prevent pregnancy but also to be safe from STDs. The photo ops are finished, she made her big splash of being "super mom" and then likened herself to a pit bull with lipstick. I felt she used her children to try to pat herself on the back. Unfortunately, many women have done much more than be "hockey moms". It's nothing unique, just part of a mom's responsibility. That's it!! Think she would be terrible in Washington, loud voice, but no style. Rather an embarrassment.
I think it is pretty tragic that you so called pro-choice folks are saying these absolutely horrible and ridiculous things about Palin. Do you honestly believe she had a baby with special needs just to prove she was pro-life? Sorry, she doesnt strike me as a woman who allows other peoples opinion to determine whether or not she should give birth. Hello! she has four other children!
You know what else cracks me up.....you folks make a big fuss about her shooting at a wolf but condone abortion as a method of birth control.
She has stated what her beliefs are and what works for her in her life. Can you provide me documentation where she states she wants to over turn roe vs wade? She hasnt! And maybe you folks should spend more time educating our teens about birth control rather than advocating abortions for under aged girls. Awhile ago, I was one of these teen girls faced with this decision. I had that abortion 25 years ago and it remains with me today. And if I had the chance to do it all over I would have had the child because as it turns out I was never able to concieve after that!
