For decades, religious leaders have been afraid to challenge their congregations to vote for pro-life candidates. Church leaders have been cowered into political inaction by pro-abortion legal advisers.
From the pulpit, less urgent - but still important - social justice issues have been given a higher priority than the lives of the unborn. As a result, the faithful have been lulled into inaction and apathy on the most urgent issue of our time - and have been lured into voting for candidates who won't even offer the most minimal protection for the unborn!
But you can help to change this by being a pro-life witness in your community!
It's time to shine a light on the darkness by exposing the extreme abortion positions of candidates like Senator Barak Obama, a man who as an Illinois Senator offered more protection for horses than to infants born alive during "live birth" abortions.
It's time to challenge Christians to vote for the candidate who will best defend the unborn - and it's not Barak!
But how can the faithful be reached if their own Church won't reach them with such a strong message? By giving witness to the Gospel of Life outside of the Church!
How does one give witness to the faithful outside of the Church? It can be done through the the use of flyers, large vinyl banners, giant posters, and personal contact with Church members - and done with a smile and a friendly demeanor.
But how can you get more information on how to be a pro-life witness to your community? It's easy - simply visit the prolifewitness.com website and sign up to participate in the September teleconference! (Speakers and dates to be announced shortly).
And if you live in Southern California, join Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust and Operation Rescue as they bring a strong pro-life witness to the Saddleback Civil Forum on Saturday, the 16th of August. Click here for more information.
Don't wait to sign up for the teleconference - space is limited to the first 1,000 registrants!

From the pulpit, less urgent - but still important - social justice issues have been given a higher priority than the lives of the unborn.
Other issues should be given a higher priority. The abortion debate has been raging in the US for 35 years now, and so far public opinion has not changed. The majority is still pro-choice.
Society would be better served if more churches focused on fights that can be won, like eliminating poverty and ensuring that every child has health care.
P.S. It's BARACK, not BARAK.
>>Other issues should be given a higher priority
First of all, not all issues have the same urgency..
To help shine a light on this, let's consider how emergency medicine deals with urgent problems - in emergency rooms, all urgent problems are not considered equal.
For example, if two people enter the ER with urgent problems, ie one is bleeding to death and another has a sprained knee, who do you think gets treated first? Why? Because treatment is prioritized based upon the urgency of the situation - issues of life and death take priority.
The same goes with abortion - the life of the unborn is more urgent than the right to health care or to escape poverty. While all of these issues *are* important, they are not all equall nor do they deserve the same priority.
Abortion is winnable - but the Church has not prioritized their efforts when it comes to electing people who will help to offer protection to the unborn.
Hopefully, we can change that, so we can move on to solving other important issues..

Man's Free Will: From The Book of Sirach, 15:11 - 20:
"Say not: 'It was God's doing that I fell
away';
for what he hates he does not do.
Say not: 'It was he who set me astray';
for he has no need of wicked man.
Abominable wickedness the LORD
hates,
he does not let it befall those who fear
him.
When God, in the beginning, created
man,
he made him subject to his own free
choice.
If you choose, you can keep the com-
mandments;
it is loyalty to do his will.
There are set before you fire and water;
to whichever you choose, stretch
forth your hand.
Before man are life and death,
whichever he chooses shall be given
him.
Immense is the wisdom of the LORD;
he is mighty in power, and all-seeing.
The eyes of God see all he has made;
he understands man's every deed.
No man does he command to sin,
to none does he give strength for lies".
Also, God gave us the commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Kill"! Please note that he gave us no addenda to that commandment, except in the case of the destructive power of His Sword - which is war and other Acts of God! Man must not supersede, change, delete or countermand so much as one of God's commandments, mandates, laws, decrees, jurisdictions or covenants. If man or woman does so, remember also these words of God: "...Not even for one sin shall you go unpunished"! God bless you all.
