United Press International recently wrote a report about the supposed increased risks that are coming following the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban.
"Health officials through agencies like Michigan's WomanCare have pointed out that since the U.S. Supreme Court passed the act, they have been forced to use medical procedures that make abortions increasingly risky and painful, The Detroit News said Monday."
Risky and painful to whom, I wonder. Silly me, the women who are choosing to wait until late in pregnancy to abort their babies.
"'It was much simpler and much less dangerous than what we are doing now,' Hodari [WomanCare medical director] said, 'But this is now the law. It's awful. It's unnecessary. It's dangerous.'"
Forgive my lack of sympathy for women who may feel a little more pain than the previous women who had endeavored to kill their 6 month-old fetuses.
Does anyone else remember back in the good-old-days when pro-choicers simply denied the existence of partial-birth abortion? Abortionist Warren Hern said that "partial-birth abortion" was a "propaganda term" in a 60 Minutes interview. 60 Minutes in particular placed emphasis on the idea that partial-birth abortions were non-existent and were used as a scare tactic to frighten Americans into being against child-killing. And then about ten minutes later they explained that the non-existent procedure occurred only several hundred times per year for extreme, medial reasons.
And now the people who secretly performed the partial-birth abortions before they became all the rage are now saying that they are forced to be a little more creative in killing late-term infants and, as a result, the women who are getting them are at an increased risk of being hurt or killed as opposed to the minimal risk they faced when their baby was delivered head-first and had his head punctured (just before having his brains sucked out of his head).
One clinic in New Jersey performed 1,500 partial-birth abortions every year, with one doctor admitting "Most [of the abortions] are for elective, non-medical, reasons: people who didn't realize, or didn't care, how far along they were."
And while the vast majority of pro-choicers are against such a procedure, the psychopaths who speak for them are not, and thus the entire pro-choice movement looks like a bunch of people who insist that a woman has the right to kill her baby just before birth, with absolute minimum risk to her.
