Why is this going to make a difference anyway?
Well, first of all, doing nothing gets us nothing. Second, I know we are all working on our individual projects or talking with people every day, but we pro-life people can take a few minutes out of our day once a month on the first Friday to let our representatives know that they should do everything they can to stop abortion.
There are millions of us pieces of the pro-life puzzle working in our individual efforts around the country. Coming together and speaking as one on a regular basis unites and amplifies our message.
Please spend an extra few minutes helping the unborn once a month on the first Friday. Our representatives need to hear from us frequently.

Peter, I think this project would be more helpful if people were calling about bills that were actually coming up for a vote. The Right to Life bill will never get a vote until there are enough votes for it. It's a complete waste of pro-life people's times to call on it. Instead, you should be mobilizing people to call the House and Senate to oppose the embryonic stem cell research funding bill which likely will come up this month and probably will pass and go to the president again. That's the bill the capitol needs to be flooded with calls on. Also, having people say they are calling for Monthly Call for Life is the fastest way to get ALL of the calls ignored. When Congressional officies see people are just calling on a spam campaign, they ignore the calls. The best thing is for people to simply call on their own behalf and not mention any organized effort.

I understand your perspective Steven, but the idea of this project is to encourage everyone to call once a month on the first Friday, regardless of what bill is coming up. Pro-Life people from all groups need to speak up and speak out on a regular basis.
Every Pro-Life person in America can participate in this simple effort. Many people have Pro-Life projects. I support all of them, report on them and promote them. All free of charge through projects like ProLifeUnity.com, ProLifeNews.tv and more.
Would it hurt Pro-Life people and organizations to help promote the Monthly Call for Life at MonthlyCallForLife.com? After all, it is the only national Monthly Call for Life. Is one day a month too much to ask for people to participate in a united Pro-Life effort?
