Have a look at this article in the Washington Post regarding Bush's recent appointment of Dr. Eric Keroack as chief of the Department of Health & Human Service's family planning arm. According to the article, Dr. Keroack serves as medical director for A Woman's Concern, a non-profit pregnancy counseling organization in Massachusetts that encourages abstinence before marriage & does not support contraceptive use. Needless to say - as the article indicates - family planning organizations are not happy about his appointment.
