We've followed the controversy of the Northern Kentucky University professor who led students in the destruction of a pro-life display, indignantly defending her actions.
Northern Right to Life has published a statement indicating the controversy surrounding the Cemetary of the Innocents has been resolved:
The vandalism and criminal solicitation charges against former NKU professor Dr. Sally Jacobsen for the dismantling our "Cemetery of the Innocents" display have been resolved outside of court. The charges were dropped after Jacobsen agreed to make monetary restitution for the stolen and damaged property, to donate $1000 to the Madonna House, a Northern Kentucky crisis pregnancy shelter for expectant mothers, and to make a written apology to our student organization and to the owners of the crosses. Now that this case has been resolved, Northern Right to Life hopes to continue defending human life and promoting education about abortion on our campus and in our community.
Here is Jacobsen's apology:

In prior posts, I remarked that this is the right course of action for Jacobsen. I'm glad for her and Northern Right to Life that the matter has been put to rest to the satisfaction of the parties invovled.

She still does lose her job for teaching her students to be vandals, right?
