We've reported about this in the past but you've got to check out Colorado State Representative Ted Harvey's description of the day abortion survivor Gianna Jessen showed up prior to the assembly's recognition of Planned Parenthood - click here. Colorado lawmakers vigorously applauded Jessen after she sang the national anthem and heard about the physical challenges she has overcome. However, when Harvey told his colleagues Jessen was an abortion survivor:
BANG! The gavel came down.Just as I was finishing the last sentence of my speech -- the climax of the morning -- the speaker of the House gaveled me down and said, "Representative Harvey, I will allow you to continue your introduction, but not for the purposes of debating a measure now pending before the House."
At which point I said, "Mr. Speaker, I understand. I just wanted to put a face to what we are celebrating today."
Amazing and powerful witness. It is sickening that the pro-abortionists feinged offense at the supposed "use" of a human being but are not at all offended that this human being was almost killed by their political beliefs. Such blindness!
