How come Planned Parenthood doesn't get it? You can't have Mother's Day without … babies!
Washington, D.C. – "How is it possible for Planned Parenthood, operator of the nation's largest chain of abortion clinics, to conduct a fundraising campaign with a Mother's Day theme?" asked American Life League president Judie Brown. "It's simply horrifying to think that anyone involved in abortion – even Planned Parenthood – could have the audacity to claim any association at all with a day designed to salute a mother's selfless love for her children."
Over the years, Planned Parenthood has committed more than three million abortions. "That's three million instances in which mothers permitted their children to be killed at this organization's hands," said Mrs. Brown. "For many of these women, Mother's Day is an annual reminder of the unspeakable evil they permitted to be perpetrated on
their own flesh and blood."
A recent e-mail communication from Jatrice Martel Gaiter, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., urged supporters to "honor your mother in a very special way" with a financial contribution to Planned Parenthood. Gaiter said that at Planned Parenthood's Washington affiliate, "Mother's Day also reminds us of our mission – to ensure that every child is wanted, nurtured, and enormously loved."
"Can Planned Parenthood be serious?" asked Mrs. Brown. "Ms. Gaiter's words have a ghastly ring to them. How is it that a beautiful baby, which she describes as 'nurtured and enormously loved,' can be violently put to death in the offices that she oversees? And how could it be that such a 'service' be funded in honor of the woman who gave
life to these potential contributors?"
Mrs. Brown said it's no secret that many women who abort their children suffer physically, emotionally and psychologically for years after the abortion. Post-abortion counselors say the grief is especially intense on the anniversary of the abortion, the anniversary of the baby's due date – and on Mother's Day. "If anyone wishes to
eliminate such suffering for the next generation of mothers, the last thing they should do is to fund this purveyor of death," she said. "We encourage all pro-life Americans to put a stop to Planned Parenthood's largest contribution – the $265 million this organization gets every year from our federal, state and local tax dollars. This latest atrocity should be the final straw.

American Life League helped draft & promote "Mother's Day at the Abortion Mills", an effort put together by MarchTogether.com. Encourage all mothers, past, present and future, to go to an abortion mill on Saturday the 13th of May and pray that the women who go to those facilities on that day change their minds and decide to keep their children instead of kill them.
Planned Parenthood has also distributed "Choice on Earth" cards around Christmas. Add that to "A superhero for Choice" and I'm not suprised by anything they do, no matter how repugnit
Yes, it really is crazy to celebrate Mother's Day if you're one of those insane people who believes that a woman should be provided with the tools to intentionally create life instead of facing the prospect of producing children that can not be supported by the mother and will not be supported by the government or by the pro-life groups that claim to advocate for their "rights."
Planned Parenthood works to ensure the health and safety of people, including mothers, so that they may, if they choose to become parents, be better prepared -- by being healthy and better-educated -- to care for the lives they bring into the world.
Pro-life groups advocate the fetus's right to life, and do nothing beyond this to ensure the safety, health, or happiness of unwanted children brought into the world, or that of the mothers forced to bear children that they do not want and can not care for.
Planned Parenthood has done more for mothers and motherhood than all of the "pro-life" groups combined. Happy Mother's Day! Viva Planned Parenthood! Long live CHOICE!

In reference to "producing children that can not be supported by the mother..blah blah blah"
We don't "produce" children, but we do "create" them. Humanity isn't an assembly line without thought. Sex isn't an act that we cannot control. So many people believe that children and adults can't help it if they want to "have sex", and that they should have the right to do so without consequences.
Reality check - Sex = Baby
Many people live the contraceptive mentality and just want to have fun, but are unwilling to pay the price of their fun when the bill comes due.

Let's do a comparison of Pro-Life vs pro-choice
> Pro-Life - The last time I checked, we "Pro-Life" people are the ones donating our money & doing fund raisers for the women who are pregnant. We help pay for their pre-natal care, clothing, delivery, homes, food, counseling, adoption and post-pregnancy care.
> Pro-choice - You want to kill the children at any point in time in their life while they are inside the womb. You don't provide anything for pregnant women in trouble. Nada, zip, zero. Only an abortion, which the woman will suffer from the rest of her life, and which will obviously kill the child she carries.
That is why they call people like you the "culture of death". You folks care more for trees and snail darters then you do for human life. I believe that's why they call you "tree huggers". I love trees & nature too, but no thanks, given the "choice", I'd rather have a baby in my arms then kiss a block of wood.
And how much money do abortionists get for performing their services? The fact is that most abortionists get into the bussiness because of the money involved. Any of these pretty notions of "altruism" is just a smokescreen
