She told her fourth grade class about abortion:
A fourth-grade teacher at Hills-Hendersonville Elementary School in the Canon-McMillan School District is suspended pending an investigation of a lesson about the election process during which she allegedly described abortion and adoption and asked students to vote on the issue. After you consider this controversy, tell me, are you "ok" with sex ed for fourth and fifth graders or teaching fifth- and sixth-graders how to access sexuality-related health products? How about state mandated HIV and AIDS awareness for five-year-olds?His daughter told him the teacher gave a detailed description of the abortion process and said she personally would give up a baby for adoption instead of having an abortion.
"My daughter's innocence has been taken away from her," Mr. Stienstraw said.

If the children are old enough to be given sexual education, then they are old enough to be told about abortion.
I don't see how the 'pro-choice' folks could possibly be against this, since they see abortion as just another means of birth control. And what about so-called 'academic freedom'?
