I've written before how my daughter was given a bad grade on a test in her 11th grade class because she answered a question correctly. When she asked why the teacher marked it wrong, the teacher remarked "because that's not what I taught you". My daughter said "but I answered the question correctly", to which the teacher just said once again, "that's not what I taught you".
It's not that the modern indoctrinators of education are working in collusion, conspiring to brainwash our children with their belief systems and their understanding of history. The point is that they do it.
The son of a friend of mine, a boy of 15, told me yesterday that the teacher gave them an assignment. Their assignment was to pick a controversial topic and prepare to debate it. Any topic that is except for abortion. Why? Because it is too controversial.
This is what it has come to in America. We are no longer allowed to speak our minds in the public schools. If our children speak about Christianity or pray openly they are ostracized or suspended. They have free reign to indoctrinate our children all day long and we have to sit back & take it.
Our children cannot challenge homosexuality without being called intolerant and they can't debate abortion because it's too controversial.
Until there are standards in our school systems we must pull our children out of them. Our schools aren't "teaching" our children, they're brainwashing them. The generation who coined the phrase "question authority" is now in power and they won't allow our children to question them.
Speak up against abortion and the culture of death. Join us in the Monthly Call for Life at MarchTogether.com. Call, email and/or march to let your representatives know that we won't be quiet about the topic of abortion!
Also join us for our new event, the Monthly Call for Life on Saturday. It takes place on the Saturday after the first Friday. This is for those of you out there who have wanted to help in the street efforts but haven't been able to because so many of them are during the week, when you are at school or work.
Look for local efforts in your town. If you can't find one email us at action(at)marchtogether.com. (no spaces & replace (at) with @)
It will only get worse if we are silent. Our children are being silenced in school by their teachers. We must lead by example and show our children that it is our moral duty to defend life. Don't just donate money, don't just write about how bad abortion and the culture of death is, get out in the streets and lead by example!
