LifeNews - The new book about the life and death of Terri Schiavo, written by her parents and brother and sister, hits the bookshelves on Tuesday. With a release date of just three days before Terri's ex-husband starved her to death in a court-approved euthanasia, “A Life That Matters" provides in inside look into the horror of a family watching someone they love slowly die before their eyes.
Unlike a new book written for Michael Schiavo, which he told NBC's "Dateline" on Sunday was meant to "settle some scores" with the Schindler, family, Terri's father, Robert Schindler, says their book was written to honor her. "In the book, we reveal information about Terri when she was a youngster through adulthood," Schindler said. "We tried to share with you an inside look at Terri’s personality, how kind she was and how she touched the hearts of everyone that knew her," Schindler added.

I lived a life similar to this for 14 years, as there are probably more people than we know that have also. I think that people should leave Mr. Schiavo alone. People don't even have a clue all that you go thru living a life like that. There is so much more than just a decision. Do you know any normal person that would like to live like that year after year. What quality of life is there? I know that I would not like to live like that for any length of time. As Mr. Schiavo, I loved and still do love my first husband and everything I did for him was out of my love for him and I know that I would not have done anything different and I am sure he feels the same way. He seems to me like a very honest man and I support him. I also went on with my life, but I never stopped and never will stop loving my first husband. Just needed to write my opinion and would like to have Mr. Schiavo know that there are people out there that support him.
Was it honest when Michael Schiavo went on NBC the other day and told Matt Lauer that Terri's father Robert Schindler was planning to cut off Terri's arms and legs?
Was it honest when Michael Schiavo suddenly remembered, years after the fact, that Terri wouldn't want to live 'on machines'?
Was it honest when Michael Schiavo used Terri's usage of birth control pills to 'prove' that she wasn't really that devout of a Catholic, so she would be OK with euthanasia?
The man is a lying snake.
