The Modern day Holocaust Denied My Mother's family and many Jewish families were killed by the Germans because they were unwanted and hated. Her father was dragged into the street and shot publicly for all to see. People in the past may have claimed they didn't know about what was going on, but I say they didn't care. I believe the hate and rhetoric of that day was powerful, and it was part of what convinced the population of Germany to do the horrible things that they did, but I also believe the people of that country went along with it for some reason. Am I saying the entire population of Germany wanted to kill all Jewish people? No, but I am saying many of them were sold a bill of goods that they wanted to buy or had no problem buying.
