Governor Jim Doyle approved litigation which will allow the state to sue the FDA to allow over the counter sales of the morning after pill.
The state of Wisconsin will sue the Food and Drug Administration, claiming it is putting women's health at risk because it has delayed allowing sales of the morning after pill over the counter.
This was pushed forward by the state's Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager who asked for permission from Governor Doyle to sue.
“FDA’s postponement in making a decision is the result of politics, not science, and negatively impacts the health of women,” Doyle said in a letter to Lautenschlager, according to a Badger Herald news report.
This isn't an issue of politics, it's an issue of life and death. The morning after pill will kill people as opposed to women delivering children which they have conceived through sex. A state should not sponsor nor sue for the killing of an innocent human being. Also, they want this pill to be available to girls 16 years of age and older.
"I am pleased with the governor's action," Lautenschlager said in a statement released Thursday. "We want to ensure that this contraceptive drug is readily accessible to women who want to prevent pregnancy, especially women who are the victims of sexual assault."
This "victims of sexual assault" bit is just a lie. They could easily propose something specifically for them but they don't. Pro-choice people use this debate to make it appear as if they are just being humanitarian, but their primary goal is to keep all forms of abortion legal at all costs.
The gears of the abortion machine are turning. Planned Parenthood, a billion dollar corporation, stands to personally gain from this sale.
They already made 15$ million dollars last year on it!
Why do they receive 300 million in tax dollars? Why does the United States fund an organization who sells a service and product which most people in this country consider murder?
If you want to speak out against this travesty of justice go to MarchTogether.com, click on Call for Life and let your representatives know that you disagree with funding for Planned Parenthood. You folks in Wisconsin should also call your Governor and your representatives.

I know I've asked before but wanted to ask one more time if it would be possible to be added to the Pro-Life blogroll. My last abortion rant can be read here.
Keep up the great work! I hope I may be considered for the blogroll.
