Which would cause greater anxiety, an abortion or a miscarriage?
Isn't this supposed to be one of those no-brainer questions? What's funny to me is that people actually pay to do studies on these kinds of questions.
Everyone on this planet knows that abortion is the intentional killing of an unborn human being. A miscarriage is uncontrollable.

A study in Norway compared a group of 40 women who had suffered a miscarriage with 80 women who had an abortion, questioning them 10 days, six months, two years and five years after the event.
Women who have an abortion can suffer mental distress, anxiety, guilt and shame at least five years afterwards, researchers say today.
What a surprise! Just think, people with college degrees spent time and money on this study.
Although women who had a miscarriage suffered more mental distress up to six months after losing their baby, women who had an abortion experienced more mental distress at the two- and five-year intervals. So in the short term, women who have had miscarriages suffer grief more than those who have had abortions, but go into the long term and the effects of intentionally killing a human being in the womb sticks with the women who have had abortions.Anna Pringle, from the pro-life charity Life, said the research confirmed that abortion can cause "massive" emotional suffering. "We believe it is time that the Government acknowledges the fact that abortion carries with it psychological risks that can affect women long after the actual event," she said.
Let's challenge our representatives to acknowledge that abortions kill living human beings. Join us once a month in the Call for Life at MarchTogether.com on every first Friday. We email, call and/or march to let them know it is time to end abortion in America.

This study conirms the results of a significantly larger survey showing women who have abortions have much higher rates of suicide. See http://www.LifeNews.com/nat1895.html
I'm puzzled as to why they didn't do a study on the long-term psychological, emotional, physical and financial effects of carrying an unwanted pregnancy to term, both for the mother and child.
