TORONTO, December 21, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) Fatima, a relatively new immigrant to Canada found herself pregnant with twins at a time when she already had three children and her husband was without a job. She was therefore in quite a dilemma and turned to others for help, but the "help" offered was not what she expected, wanted or needed.
Her personal story, with a happy ending, relates what many distressed pregnant women encounter from individuals or agencies who offer what they believe is a quick fix solution to a their serious needs at a time of personal crisis. Fatima, who wrote an an article about her experience for the for the September 2005 Interim newspaper, resisted the offered questionable solution and was instead helped by individuals who respected her womanhood and the lives of her unborn twin children.
She wrote in her article, "While I am writing, I have tears coming down because today, I am blessed with wonderful twin boys. My life has never been filled with as much joy as now." She wrote the article to encourage other women in similar circumstances to resist the social pressures and keep their babies.

What a wonderful testimony!
I'd like to share the following comments, which I received from a pregnancy help center in my area some time ago:
"Just within the past hour we had a client come in for baby clothes. She had an abortion scheduled at and she said that she couldn't go in because someone talked to her on the outside and gave her a brochure to read. The brochure included our Pregnancy Center address Anyway, she decided not to have an abortion; and it turns out that she's having TWINS! According to her, she was going to take the life of what she thought was one baby and (in her words), "Instead God blessed me with two babies." She lives with her grandmother but other than that she is alone in this pregnancy. We invited her back for any help we can give her. THANK THE LORD! Thank you and those who sidewalk counsel with you, for your faithfulness. We pray more than anything that these women, along with their babies, would come to Christ."
