We will end abortion in this country. We will end it through all of our Pro-Life efforts and determination. One way is by marching together in the Monthly Call for Life.
In the past, millions have taken up the march when they wanted to speak out against injustices.

Our government has become destructive of these ends. Through Roe v. Wade over 40 million Americans have been killed in the last 32 years.
I'm not advocating the overthrow of our government since that would obviously be too complicated. I'm saying we should hold our elected representatives accountable for what we elected them for. Some of those things are to defend the defenseless, help the helpless and to stop injustices, like racism and abortion.

Too often I hear how people won't vote because "why bother, the person is not going to do what is promised in the speeches anyway".
You don't walk away from or not get involved in politics for that reason, you strengthen your resolve to take those to task who are elected when they don't do what they say they will do.
So many say that the voice of the people comes through in the vote. I disagree, the vote is only the first step. After that, we have to pay attention to the person we voted for to make sure he/she is doing what was promised, and if not, we express our disapproval.
Concerning the issue of abortion, it is time to hold our politicians to task. Ninety percent of Republicans and Ten percent of Democrats say they are Pro Life so let's challenge them to put their money where their mouth is. If our government wanted to stop the horror of killing unborn people they could have done so many years ago, but since there is no consistent, focused public outcry, they think we want to just make it "safe and rare".
If we want change we have to demand it, not ask for it!

America, spread the word that it is time to end abortion. Tell everyone you know who really wants abortion to stop, to get involved in the Pro Life movement and the Monthly Call for Life.
Talk is cheap if it isn't directed at those who can change the laws. I can be a big mouth all I want with my friends, but to consistently call my elected officials and challenge them to do the right thing takes determination. I need to have that determination. I won't stop abortion if all I do is talk to my friends or those who disagree with me. The people who will change these laws work for us in government.
We the people can encourage them to do the right thing through our voices in the Monthly Call for Life.
Be a part of Life, help people live, let your voice be heard every month until abortion is made illegal as it should be.

If you truly were pro-life, you'd help people reduce the need for abortion, not abolish it entirely.
Add to this the fact that Republican states in the US have higher rates of crime, divorce etc. and you have evidence that conservative social policies do the opposite of what they purport to do.

I'm supposed to believe this comment just because the person made it? How about this one then, "I'm the most intelligent person in the world"? Does it make it so because I said it?
Abortion is legal in the Ukraine. In the Ukraine there were 719,213 live births and 1,130,115 abortions in 1970. That was a ratio of 1571. In 2000 there were 385,126 live births and 434,223 abortions. Even though abortions went down to almost a third over a period of 30 years, the ratio remains high at 1,127. Notice that means there are significantly less people being born then are being aborted.

You can't prove statistics from countries who don't have legal abortion, but you can see that countries where it is legal have extremely high abortion rates.

I don't need to prove my "Pro-Life" status to anyone. Unborn children deserve to live.

I think you will find that most states that voted Democrat are the states with the highest abortion rates. New York City, home of Senator Hillary Clinton has an abortion rate of 767 per 1000!!!
Let's get back to the main point about abortion. Abortion kills an innocent unborn human being. For what? How are you going to justify killing that person?
Poverty?
Population control?
Better job?
Want to party/travel without children?
Selfishness?

Thank you for the tip. I do believe that we need to be more assertive in demanding that the United States takes the Constitution protection of the Right to Life serious.
I mean how does anyone seriously propose that to "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity" means to arbitrary and intentionally kill them. That is a way to deprive someone of their liberty, not insure it.
The clause I quoted above comes from the preamble of the Constitution which all elected and judicial officers of the United States take an oath to support. Obviously pro choicers do not regard that oath seriously.
