I wanted to send you this special email right away. Just a few hours ago, in Amarillo, TX, Bishop John Yanta signed the Constitutions of the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life, the new Society of Apostolic Life that Priests for Life has been given permission to form.
What this means is that this morning, the new Society actually became a canonical reality in the Church. Up to now it was a project, an idea, a movement that we have all indeed been involved in and working toward!
But now, by God's grace, we can say that there exists - for the first time in Church history - a Society of Apostolic Life that will train priests, deacons, and lay missionaries to work full time to end abortion in America and worldwide!
Please praise the Lord together with me at this historic moment.
And may I ask you to do one more thing - On January 6-8, in Amarillo, I will hold a discernment retreat for those who think they may be interested in becoming priests or deacons in the Society. Would you spread the word, and invite those who may be interested to contact my assistant John at vocations@priestsforlife.org?
You will be hearing more from me about this new community and also about the lay associates program.

I realize there is a split in the Christian faith. Not everyone agrees with the views of the Catholic Church. The arguments I hear amongst Christians make me wonder if we understand what being Christian means.
As Christians we must agree on basic principles. Some of those being:
> We are all God's Children
> We pray to the same God
> All Life is sacred
> It is our duty to protect and defend the helpless, defenseless and unborn
We need to unite in our common goal to end abortion. That is why we created MarchTogether.com. Through our unified Monthly Call for Life we let our representatives know that we want abortion to end. We email, call and/or march on the first Friday of every month.
It doesn't matter if you're Catholic, Protestant or non-denominational, unite with us to help save God's Children.
