As our nation mourns the 33rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, one pro-life organization, Focus on the Family, is challenging all churches during the month of January to address the issue of abortion and how it is affecting Christians.
According to a survey conducted by the Alan Guttmacher Institute, a Planned Parenthood research arm, 20% of women who have abortions say they are evangelical Christians. AGI also reports 33% of women who have abortions and disclose their religious affiliation describe themselves as Catholic.
