The Workforce We Are Creating

| 9 Comments | 1 TrackBack

What kind of workforce will we create if we force people to do things that are ethically wrong?

There are those who say that abortion is a matter of opinion & that we should just agree to disagree. To those of us who believe abortion is murder this is completely unacceptable and is why we still fight to overturn Roe vs Wade almost 33 years later. Abortion is the biggest moral failing in the history of the world and it continues at a rate of 4,000 a day.

On Nov. 4th I wrote:

Abortion is worse than racism and the Holocaust, but many don't want to elevate it to that status. Many want to keep it as an "opinion" issue so that people can say "let's just agree to disagree". Abortion is worse than racism and the Holocaust because abortion kills 4,000 people every day and corrupts or damages the minds of the 12,000 people who have them / participate in them. The mother has the abortion, the father does nothing about it and the "doctor" performs the act. Most likely the doctor is supported by 1 or 2 nurses, so that would mean at least 12,000 people every single day in this country are directly taking part in the murder of an innocent, helpless human being.

Every single day 12,000+ people are complicit in a criminal act. We are creating a nation of criminals of the worst kind. Criminals who are not stealing, committing adultery or raping. The criminals we are creating are taught and then participate in the murder of the most innocent in life, unborn children.

In America we are being taught it is morally acceptable to kill children out of convenience, income, population control and to prevent people with disabilities from being born. We are being taught that taking care of the elderly is too expensive and we should just pull the plug when people aren't capable of caring for themselves anymore. This teaching will shape our nation in ways we can't yet imagine. By teaching our children that murder is good we are beginning to redifine entirely the moral fabric of mankind.

People will challenge my definition of them of them as murderers. Is a person who watches someone commit a murder complicit to the crime? You know the answer to that question. If you kill someone intentionally are you a murderer?

Here is what someone in the medical profession had to say:

Note that prior to Roe vs. Wade all one had to do was go to the mental health dept.; state any number of acceptable mental stresses; get a referral from them; go to an ob-gyn & could get a legal therapeutic abortion. Every teen knew of people to talk to that knew of reputable doctors who performed abortions so you know the police knew who these doctors were also.

In other words safe abortions were obtainable before Roe vs. Wade. Abortions were just not as acceptable in society as the guy owning up to his responsibilities or the girl "going off" to have the child and give it up for adoption. Those options were the "right" thing to do.
Having worked for Dept. of Soc. Svcs.there are workers who can not voice objections or offer any other alternatives in fear of losing their jobs.

I knew one social worker that had lost all 3 of her kids in a car accident and could not have any other kids. Imagine the emotional stress this caused her having to fill out the papers authorizing an abortion.

I knew a social worker who could not have kids & had spent so much money going to fertility doctors. Another social worker had gotten rejection after rejection in trying to find a baby to adopt.
I personally filled out papers authorizing an abortion for a 15 year old girl who acted as if she was asking for birth control pills. Imagine my guilt especially when I found it was her "fourth" abortion that year. I never did that again.

The government may make laws to "legalize abortion" but the blood is part and parcel on all our hands as tax payers pay for them. There is a "gag" order that has become an unwritten law along with the legalization. If a client called in feeling guilty you could express no thoughts at all..just refer them to mental health. Even the psychologist at mental health had a set number of things that could be said even if they objected to abortion themselves.

You have to ask yourself if pro-choice people even consider the "horror" stories that pro-lifers can tell. They are so blind and certainly deaf.

A friend of mine told me about a discussion he had with someone a few days ago. He asked the young man how he could support abortion. How could the man support the taking of an innocent life? The man didn't say anything about the taking of the life, you know, something like "it's a fetus not a human", instead he said "because it's legal".

Do you see what abortion has come down to? Most people, even the strongest pro-aborts I know say it is legal and a "woman's right to choose", as if "choice" is the answer to why abortion should be legal in the first place.

Should a doctor or nurse be forced to perform abortions because it is the law? Many around the country know this law was not meant by the founding fathers.

Doctors are forced to learn how to perform abortions. Nurses are forced to learn how to assist abortions. If you don't want to participate, tough luck, do it or lose your job.

What about those in the medical profession who don't want to participate in abortions?

An article at euthanasia.com shows how it is becoming more difficult to recruit people who want to perform abortions.

Full Article Here

-------

In fact, hospitals everywhere have discovered that recruiting personnel willing to provide abortion services is very difficult. Last year, over 65% of registered nurses in the United States polled by RN magazine said they would refuse to work in an obstetrics unit where abortions were performed. This reverses figures from 10 years ago, when most nurses would help perform abortions, said RN editor Suzanne Wolfe in an interview with Reuters Health.

Forcing nurses to participate in abortions fits into the pro- abortion agenda, says Joanne Hatton, Alberta Pro-Life president. "This is yet another attempt to pretend that abortion is legitimate medicine." Nevertheless, Ms. Hatton is convinced the public is beginning to sense how resistant nurses are becoming at being forced to assist with procedures they find morally repugnant.

"It's schizophrenic-nurses on the same ward celebrating life and at the same time having to kill life," says a 62-year-old retired nurse who asked that her name be withheld. Selective abortion is really another name for eugenics, she says. "They are trying to make a perfect world by getting rid of babies who are not perfect. It reeks of Naziism. It's horrifying that anyone would kill a life because of an imperfection. If these babies are going to die it should be a natural death. Leave it up to God. Right now the hospitals are killing disabled children."

In America, the Hyde-Welmon Conscience Protection Amendment is supposed to protect health care individuals from having to perform abortions if they are morally opposed to it. Though it was signed into law by President Bush it must be renewed annually as Jill Stanek says here:

But be warned that the Hyde-Weldon Amendment must be approved annually, and the abortion industry is already fighting it. Pro-abortion California Attorney General Bill Lockyer announced the day the bill became law that he would sue to block it.

Article

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists tried to counteract the Hyde/Weldon amendment and sent a letter to every senator which said:

"Doctors who morally object to abortion should be required to refer patients to other physicians who will provide appropriate care,"

Why should doctors who oppose abortion and possibly consider it murder have to refer a patient who wants an abortion to someone whom he believes is committing a morally reprehensible act?

Judie Brown, President of the American Life League challenges the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and their opposition to something that protects doctors and nurses from having to do things they consider morally wrong:

While it does not come as any surprise to me that the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology has just announced their opposition to their fellow ob/gyns who voice the choice NOT to abort a child, it should cause all women pause to question such dictatorial maneuvers. Since when can the political leadership of ACOG instruct doctors on what they can and cannot do in the practice of medicine?

The Hyde-Weldon Amendment was challenged recently by Republican Arlen Spectre.

Sen. Boxer signaled that she intends to work with Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) to weaken or overturn the Hyde/Weldon Conscience Protection Amendment during committee action on the Labor/HHS appropriations bill this fall. Subsequently, Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA), chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, reported out the Fiscal Year 2006 Labor/Health and Human Services Appropriations Bill (H.R. 3010) with language that guts the Hyde/Weldon Conscience Protection Law. On July 14, H.R. 3010 was placed on the Senate calendar.

Article

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops states

However the Chairman's mark of the Labor/HHS appropriations bill for FY 2006 offered by Senator Specter, and now approved by both subcommittee and full Senate Appropriations Committee, guts the Hyde/Weldon amendment. This version not only takes away protections found in current law under the Hyde/Weldon amendment - it even marks a step backward from protections which were overwhelmingly approved by the Senate in 1996 and have been part of the U.S. Code ever since (42 USC-238n). This gutted language must not become law.

Article

More by LifeNews:

The Specter language would withhold federal dollars from discriminating agencies only if they require health care personnel to train in or perform abortions, but not if they are forced to refer patients to other facilities for abortions.

Specter included the changed wording in the Senate bill on behalf of NARAL and other abortion advocacy groups. The say it "clarifies" the Hyde-Weldon provision, but pro-life groups say it simply weakens the protections that provision offers.

A representative of the U.S. Conference of Catholic bishops say the Specter language would "effectively gut" the protections in the Hyde-Weldon language, which President Bush signed into law last year.

Abortion has been legal for so many years almost everyone in America has been negatively influenced by it. Never in the 27 years that I've been discussing this topic has any man or woman been able to say that abortion is a good thing without anger or sadness.

What kind of workforce will we create as a nation of euthanasia and abortion? Don't tell me euthanasia is not legal in America yet. Terri Schiavo proved that one wrong and I'm sure there are many more like her being killed every day since death by dehydration and starvation has been made legal.

What about those who agree that abortion and euthanasia are good for America? Would you want to be treated by them? Would you want your wife to go to one of them for prenatal care?

Why do you have a prenatal genetic test? What are they looking for and what will they do when then find something? If they find you might have a child with Down syndrome they will recommend abortion. Will you go along with that recommendation because you want to have a genetically perfect child?

I would rather be treated by someone who believes in doing everything possible to save my life then someone who believes my dignity would be better served if I were killed. I would rather my wife be examined by a doctor who believes that all life is precious than one who would recommend we kill our child because he/she might not be "perfect".

We are not animals. We are human beings. We not only have intelligence, we have a conscience. There are many doctors who say we should set aside our consience when it comes to life issues. I don't want them anywhere near me or my family, and I want our government to not only respect Life, I want them to demand the same from medical practitioners.

America should not be forcing people to perform abortions, we should be forcing people to save lives.

From article:
"Abortion is worse than racism and the Holocaust"

When you strip away the propaganda, racism simply means to stand in support of white Christendom: of wanting to maintain white societies that have traditional values.

Why is abortion "worse than" white, traditionally Chritian societies?

"stand in support of white Christendom" ???

That's an awfully racist statement don't you think? You don't think blacks are racist against whites? You don't think some Germans are racist against Turks? How about Serbs against Croatians?

Racism is not a "white" phenomenon.

Your argument is based on hatred and is obviously flawed.

Abortion is worse because:

1) Humans are killed for selfish reasons such as they are not wanted, not perfect or too expensive.
2) 4,000 human beings a day are killed by abortion and almost 50 million have been killed so far in the United States alone.
3) If we don't stand up for the unborn they will die in silence

Peter, how is it any more moral to force women to give birth? Would you want it to be compulsory for healthy people to donate blood, bone marrow, and a lung and kidney to save lives?

You made the comment "give birth". Give birth to what? A dog? A frog?

By your own statement you admit that we give birth to human beings. A woman has a baby, a human child which will become an adult.

You compare this to donating blood?

Explain that one to your children some day.

We don't force anyone to be a mother or father by enforcing laws against killing or abandoning their toddlers. The child already exists. Mom and dad are already parents.

A woman who has conceived will "give birth": the only difference is whether the child will be alive or dead and whether she is aided by State regulated medicine and technology.

I'm convinced that young men and women in 2050 will look back at 2005 the same way we look at 1936, 1955 and 1973: as a focus of great promise or the beginning of years of shameful acts carried out with the tacit approval of laws and society.

I have a question. Which one of these crime is the most terrifying crime to the human race?

A. Abortion?
B. Keep the baby and leave it on the street. Let the baby suffer with the pain of being abandoned by the unknown parents?

Sorry to disappoint you but who made you boss!

I don't believe in God and even if i did embryos are like the eggs we eat and what makes a miserable human more valuable than any other of God's creatures! the world is over populated and there should be mandatory abortions for everybody!
Go stick a coat hanger up your a** and stop meddling in other peoples business!

Get the picture you bible thumping brainless idiot! Mind your own business! Kill all the fetuses NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Satan, you've taken up writing?

Obviously there must an authoritative structure with courts, lawyers and judges. That said, we must then decide right from wrong correct? I believe someone in the womb is a living human being with unique DNA, so therefore killing that person is wrong.

Get an air-conditioner. You must be getting too hot.

In reference to the person who asked which is worse, that is absolutely a sick way of looking at the options.

A. Abortion (Kill the child) - No
B. Keep the baby and leave it on the street. Let the baby suffer with the pain of being abandoned by the unknown parents? - No

Keep the baby, love the baby, care for the baby. I have spoken with people who have been "abandoned by the unknown parents" and others who were abused as a child. I asked them as I ask all of you who want to speak for them. Would you rather be alive or dead?

Obviously many suffer from so much pain that they do commit suicide. I'm sorry they couldn't get help in time.

How can a person who is alive tell a person who could live what is best for him/her? If you care so much for this person who "might" suffer then let him/her live and decide.

People ask me what makes me God. I ask you, what makes you want to kill people out of convenience or your decision on what's best for them?
