Lorie Brown, the mother of a 14 year old girl who died because of the birth control patch last year said "I know too many young girls that got pregnant and their whole life was done".
Now her daughter's life is done.
Ms. Brown "decided to put Alycia on birth control after finding a note from a friend suggesting she was having sex. She said she wanted her daughter to get a birth control shot, but Alycia was afraid of needles so she chose the patch".
Ortho Evra makes birth control products which guarantee death and other life complications for women who take their products, yet they are allowed to continue selling them anyway.
I seem to remember lawn darts being recalled because some children died and were injured by them. I'm not saying the recall was wrong, I'm saying there is a double-standard when it comes to birth control products.
Another problem with birth control is that many people don't know of the complications and side-effects. I think we just like the possibility of having our cake and eating it too. Obviously it is not possible.
The newest warning states "The warning came after federal death and injury reports showed patch users die and suffer blood clots at a higher rate than women taking the pill".
Over 5 million women are taking a product which guarantees death and blood clots "at a higher rate than women taking the pill". They didn't say higher than women in general. This of course shows that women who take the pill have higher death rates and blood clots than women who don't take the pill.
For years it has been well known that women who take such products have higher death rates and blood clots than women in the population who don't take them. Why would any of you want to risk your life or your brain for sex?
On top of this, how many women know that the birth control pill, birth control patch and morning after pills all cause abortions? Don't take my word for it, look in the Physicians Desk Reference.

Who do you believe? Well, who's selling or pushing the product on you? Planned Parenthood and pro-abortion representatives. If you go to pro-abortion web sites or doctors, what do they tell you? They tell you the pill is safe, safer than pregnancy. They tell you the risks are minimal and lie about complications. Again, don't take my word for it, do a simple search for something like pill death, or blood clots and birth control patch. There are millions of pages on this stuff.
Here's some statistical information from a WUSA 9 News article
http://wusatv9.com/health/health_article.aspx?storyid=41226
If you are a woman taking the pill who doesn't smoke and is under 35, the chance that you are going to have a blood clot that doesn't kill you is between 1 and 3 in 10,000. Your risk of dying from a blood clot while using the pill is about 1 in 200,000.By contrast, with the patch, the rate of nonfatal blood clots was about 12 out of 10,000 users during the clinical trials, while the rate of deaths appears to be 3 out of 200,000.
In response to the possibility of her young daughter getting pregnant, Ms. Brown said. "I didn't want that for her, but I didn't want this either."
I mourn for her. I empathize with her. I know what it's like to have a child taken away by the culture of death.
