On a day when Conservatives of every stripe went from mildly frustrated to just plain mad. Kevin McCullough at the MuscleHead Revolution believes he has unearthed the secret as to why Harriet Miers is the dream pick that conservatives wanted out of Bush but didn't know if they would get.
"I am now ready to fully support Miers as an 'answer to prayer'. Liberals will get the chills. She stands for the protection of life - born and pre-born. She stands for the sanctity of biblical marriage. And she stands for the authority of the text of the Constitution. In other words she is as strong a Constructionist as she is a Biblical believer. She treats both texts with respect that realizes that text holds an objective authoritative standard that should not 'grow' or 'change' over time."
McCullough based his assertions after spending some time in a lengthy interview with the man who has served as Harriet Miers' church pastor for the past 25 years.
He also went on to add, "Schumer, Reid, and Leahy should be quaking in their boots at how they got ridiculously sloppy enough to recommend her to the President."

Update:
Interesting, the Washington Times reports,
She had a born-again experience and became an evangelical Christian in 1979. She tried to have the American Bar Association repeal its pro-choice platform -- but on the grounds that it was divisive and that the group couldn't speak for the whole legal profession, not because of moral concerns.
