Pro-life advocates protested an "ethics" conference in Minnesota featuring Terri Schiavo's estranged husband and Dr. Ronald Cranford, a renown euthanasia advocate and outspoken supporter of ending Terri's life.
"Terri didn't die an awful death," Michael Schiavo told the conference attendees. As she died, "I laid a red rose in her hand and said goodbye."
Terri's brother, Bobby Schindler, told a different story at a recent meeting in Phoenix sponsored by Arizona Right to Life.
"Terri’s life ended after almost two weeks of suffering without receiving any food or water, without receiving ice chips to help ease some of the pain she was experiencing," he said. "Please believe me when I stand here and tell you that as a witness to my sister death suffering for 13 days by starving and dehydration that is absolutely sickening -- it is wrong and needs to be stopped."
In an interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Brian Gibson, executive director of the Pro-Life Action Ministries said that "Ron Cranford is trying to make heroes out of people who have done some really evil things. The whole conference needs to be opposed. It’s a morbid and sadistic thing they’re promoting”.

I have to comment again. Schiavo lied again, bald face liar. "He laid a rose is Terri's hand"? I don't think that was possible since he refused her a simple wash cloth to keep her hand from fisting. This man eats, breathes and lives a lie. Where is the JUSTICE in all of this!! Why are these people not in JAIL for violating her civil rights? Mark Furhman wrote a book and he has stated on Fox news Michael Schiavo should appear before a GRAND JURY for her fall that night! Is any law enforcement paying attention to his actions? I don't get it!
Terri's spirit was lifted years ago. Michael has done nothing wrong. Leave this poor man alone already. You all look very foolish.
Soverysad really is.
