Life Chain 2005 is an annual pro-life event that attracts thousands of people to line the sidewalks with signs bearing the simple messages of: ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN, JESUS HEALS AND FORGIVES, ABORTION HURTS WOMEN and LIFE THE FIRST INALIENABLE RIGHT, ADOPTION THE LOVING OPTION and LORD FORGIVE US AND OUR NATION. Website: NationalLifeChain.org and LifeChain.net.
"Over 45 million of our tiniest American citizens have been deprived of their God given inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness by the horrific practice of abortion. The innocent pre born child has been discriminated against based on their size and there geographical location. Truly, what is meant to be a loving womb is the most dangerous place to live in America," so says Phil Magnan of Biblical Family Advocates.
Magnan continued by saying, "The privacy rights of children in the womb have been violated by doctors who wish to kill them for profit and for Choice. The rights of due process and equal protection for the pre born child are violated 4000 times every day in America by the taking of their lives by dismemberment.
Gross intolerance and bigotry towards the pre born child has been codified into law under the Supreme Courts decision of Roe v Wade. When will justice once again flow from our Courts for all of the children?
We call on those in authority to protect all of its citizens from the violence of abortion. We also call on Pastors and churches to repent of their silence and denial of this ongoing national atrocity. If they cannot speak up for the unborn, they should read the article Please Just Close the Doors."
In closing, Magnan said "The proponents of abortion would not want to be the victims of genocide as the innocent unborn, so why do they impose such genocidal hatred for the unborn by funding and promoting a child’s slaughter? They have covered up their hate crime in the euphemism called Choice."
It is the promoters of Life Chain's hope that many Americans will join in this gentle Life affirming event. Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful, legal event that is intended to bring an awareness of the humanity of the pre-born child. Additionally, Life Chain is a challenge for the community to give those women in a crisis pregnancy the help they need so that they will not see the need for abortion, and to find forgiveness for past abortions through the saving work of Jesus Christ.
