News: July 15, 2005 College Prolifers Injured in London Terrorist Attacks
There has been a largeamountof news coverage regarding two American sisters, Kathleen and Emily Benton, from Tennessee who were injured in during the terrorist attacks in London and are currently at Duke Medical Center receiving treatment. I just recently discovered that these two young ladies are actively involved in a college prolife group, University of Tennessee Pro-Life Collegians. Kathleen (Katie), is president of the group.
Here are twoarticles (you'll need to register for the second) where Katie's efforts on behalf of the unborn have been featured.
You can receive updates regarding their condition here.
The latest update says, "As of 5 p.m. eastern time Wednesday, Emily and Katie Benton, the Americans injured in last week's bombings in London, remain in good condition at Duke University Hospital. The surgical team has released both women from the intensive care unit, where they had been placed following reconstructive surgery Monday. Their physicians report that the two are "stable and progressing well."
