Lifenews - The judge in the Terri Schaivo case who reissued an order Friday that prompted Terri's feeding tube to be removed for a third time has withdrawn his membership in a local Baptist Church.
William Rice, the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, Florida, confirmed the news to the Baptist Press news agency on Friday.
Rice said he received a letter from Greer Thursday confirming he has rescinded his long-standing membership after the church. The Greer letter came days after Rice made public comments in news reports disagreeing with Greer's decisions related to Terri.

That is good to hear. At least he won't cheapen the status of "christianity" with his hypocritical actions.
The man just wants to be totally unaccountable. The whole world is telling him he's wrong, what he's doing is monstrous, that he's killing a living human being and all he can do is run away like a mad man, screaming and covering his ears.
The people must eventually abide in the sense that they see to it he is impeached.
I was taking the husband's side earlier, but after seeing the videos and reading Terri's attorney's statement of his last visit, I am siding more with her parents. Seeing how she is interacting with her mother & father, and her attorney, she is definitely not in a permanent vegative state. I hope they get her feeding tube back in or find another way to keep her alive. When her time comes, she will let everyone know somehow.
Thanks for the comment, Amy. The testimony of a changed mind is a compelling argument and of great importance.
The whole world is telling him he's wrong
Nah, just a vocal minority of obsessives.
The people must eventually abide in the sense that they see to it he is impeached.
Cheesing off a horde of shrieking women really isn't adequate grounds. Given that all of his decisions have been confirmed, it's safe to say his legal duties have been correctly discharged. The only thing he didn't do was satisfy the Lifetime Movie crowd.
WHY, aren't we hearing more about the fact that Jeb Bush has the authority RIGHT NOW to give have Judge Greer investigated and taken out. I really didn't realize this until I heard Alan Keyes explain this in very detailed legal language on the Michael Medved radio show. After you read what he has to say, there will be no doubt in your mind that Jeb Bush is lying to the nation! To read a quick transcript explaining this further, go to:

Something has to be done about Greer! Have you heard that "Judge Death" even gave strict orders that no one could even place a cup of water to Terri's lips and denied her parent's requests to give her jello or even ice chips in her mouth to ease her dry mouth? NOW! If this whole thing is all about poor Terri being dependent on a "machine", THEN COULD YOU TELL ME WHY GREER WON'T ALLOW HER TO TRY TO EAT ON HER OWN? Shouldn't Terri be given the option to decide whether she accepts water, jello, or ice chips?
If any of you haven't written Jeb Bush, please do now at Jeb.Bush@myflorida.com
Tell him you know he can do something about Terri and Judge Greer now!
Brad, that's silly. Greer has ordered the tampering of a Congressional witness. Senator Frist is talking jail time. I hope Greer gets the maximum prison sentence. Furthermore, while I am not saying I necessarily believe this is true, the following make for interesting reading:
