The question I ask comes from reading another blog. It MAY have been abstractappeal.com.
If Michael Schiavo caused his wife's incapacition, why would he risk filing a law suit against doctors? Said doctors, their lawyers, and the insurance company(s) involved could have demanded an investigation.
If he were guilty, the evidence might be proven and he would now be in prison.
Where is the common sense...Things would be different if Terri was being kept alive by a machine that was making here breathe, but apparently she is breathing on her own, so she is alive...if she is allowed to starve to death, then it should become a crime...people are arrested for starving their pets, some parents were just arrested for starving their child,and wasn't someone arrested not to lond ago for starving their eldery father? Why shouldn't it be against the law to starve a person who cannot feed herself? Tell me what's next will we be able to stop feeding anyone who cannot eat by themselves, the paralized, the handicapped,, the severely retarded, alzheimer patients, perhaps babies, there are some parents who no longer want them... just think of all the doors that will be opened when they allow this woman to die...any person with someone who cannot care for themselves will have an easy way out ...and the Fl. courts will be right there to help them..
